I got my hair done, and whatever shampoo she used made my hair come out amazingly soft. Not even my $30 matrix could compare.
What do they use? What shampoo/conditioners do salons use?

However, the majority of them use Bed Head shampoo and conditioner.
mine uses redken
i'm not sure what they use but my friend told me that she makes her hair really soft by mixing lemon juice, honey, and oil. i tried it and i really works. the lemon juice may make your hair turn somewhat blond when you go in the sun. don't use a ton of honey or your hair will become sticky. wash it out with whatever shampoo you usually use, your hair will still be soft.
well my mom works at a mastercuts in the mall and the only thing thy use is Biolage shampoo and condintioner

It's not so much what they use, its the knowledge they have when using the product. I used to work at a very busy Sally's store that supplied about 30 salons in the area. We have a bunch of (very high quality) generic products. Brands mean very little if you don't know what you're doing. They know to use X shampoo for Y customer who's hair is in Z condition. They use really nice tools to blow dry, curl, or straighten as well. For all you know, maybe its your blow dyer. A good ceramic blow-dryer can make the difference between frizzy flat hair and sleek, shiny hair with volume. Somem hairdressers are iffy with their secrets, and other are willing to tell when asked. Give it a shot, she may tell you.
