The very best dandruff shampoo is a professional product made by Matrix called ';Actrol';. I PROMISE you this product is the miracle you need! Conditioners are not made to fight dandruff, but you should probably stick with something light and moisturizing.Best dandruff shampoo/conditioner?

Olive Oil Shampoo/Conditioner?
I bought some olive oil shampoo and conditioner. Will they make my hair oily? Is it good for my hair?Olive Oil Shampoo/Conditioner?
It will not make your hair oily.It is best for hair that is on the dry or normal side, however.Olive Oil Shampoo/Conditioner?
I've bought some of this once. It does make your hair oily, especially when you wake up in the morning. I started to use a whole lot less of the normal amount of shampoo and conditioner on my hair and it helped. All though, it is really good for your hair! It makes it soft and mousturized. You should probably only use it 3 times a week or your hair will adapt to the conditions of the the oil being produced and stay like that!
Yes olive oil is very good for your hair. Though if you don't have dry hair then you should not wash your hair with it every day or it will make it oily because olive oil is very moisturizing. If you have normal hair then just use it once or twice a week and use another good shampoo for the other days.
Is it the DesignLine brand? If so, I used it a couple years ago and looooved it! It made my hair smell good and feel healthy. My hair stylist recommended it to me, and I'm glad I bought it.
Since olive oil is a natural oil, it should be good for your hair.
And I doubt chemists would make shampoos that make hair oily. But if you just wanna test it out, take a shower tonight or over the weekend and see if you like it!
At least for me it doesnt but ive got no clue about what it does to your hair
I dont think itll make it oily. but yes it is good for your hair
no it won't and yes it is

i use pantene, and it makes my hair soft and a bit too volumized for me ;D
lmao.Best Volumizing Shampoo / Conditioner ? !?
I've used both of those and prefer Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner. I prefer it because I think it gives me better volume and Pantene has wax in it so it can damage your hair overtime. If you want volume consider curling your hair because curls generally look more volumous than straight hair. You could try teasing at the crown for more volume, but overtime it might damage your hair if you do it a lot. Try using other volumizing products besides just shampoo and conditioner like Tresemme 24 Hour Body Hairspray. Hope I helped! :)blush brush

I have thin/thinning hair.. going organic hair shampoo/conditioner?
I've been using Nioxin for about 5 months now.. and I think it's done what it's suppose to do.. which was stop me from shedding so much..
After all that my hair has gone pretty dry.. and I wanna switch shampoo %26amp; conditioners.
I recently bought Giovanni Smooth as Silk line from target because of all the good reviews and being organic/natural.. Would going natural still help my hair become healthier and keep my head from shedding?I have thin/thinning hair.. going organic hair shampoo/conditioner?
I use Giovanni myself, but sadly there is nothing in the ingredients that would stop you from shedding. Are you by chance vegan, since Giovanni is a vegan line? If so, try reconsidering your diet. To my knowledge there is no organic hair care that TRULY stops thinning.I have thin/thinning hair.. going organic hair shampoo/conditioner?
If you're using any heat tools(straightener, curler, blow dryer) STOP using them ASAP!! They weaken your hair.
Instead of using Giovanni, try Bed Head's Moisture Maniac. Sounds like your hair is very dry and it needs a good rinsing with this shampoo and conditioner. Moisture = Healthy hair
Also, go to a salon and see if they recommend anything.
Good Luck!
Amy
Dr. Bronners peppermint soap stimulates blood flow and its all natural, organic and environmentally safe. It doesn't strip the hair so you don't have to worry about dryness, but it does have to be diluted because it is concentrated. Do a web search on Dr. Bronner's products, you could also use Burt's Bees.
You need to use hair products that stimulate the blood flow to your scalp.
When my hair gets that way, I use Dr. Miracle's products. They can be found in Sally Beauty Supply. They're made for ethnic hair, but work on any. It has a thermalceutical complex that stimulates blood flow to your hair follicles.

Hair product isn't always the answer. How's the folic acid in your diet? Try increasing your intake of folic acid and taking prenatal pills. It has the acid in it, along with others that should help your hair.
I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

http://aoi-panic.skyrock.com/profil/photos/51100972How can i get my hair like this? and what should i use on it(shampoo, conditioner, products, etc)?
It doesn't matter too much what shampoo or conditioner you use but maybe one with volume would give it some ';oomph';.
wash it and blow dry it with the spikey bit separated from the front fringe and then straighten the fringe and spray with lots of hair spray. Backcome the bit at the back and use a light gel or hair spray to keep it in place. To backcomb you hold the hair up and brush it the wrong way. You will need a lot of hairspray! the style will not work if you have long hair.

I guess you know that the majority of health and beauty products are NOT vegan, even if they contain no animal products, because they're distributed by companies that conduct horrific animal toxicity tests:

The Herbal Essence Conditioner is the Blue Bottle [Moisturizing Conditioner]

herbal essences was alright but
not my favorite.
if you have frizzy or damaged hair,
try redken extreme - it's really good
and smells like blueberries :)
garnier fructis is decent, but again
not my favorite.
if i had to pick between the two
i'd pick garnier though.
the brand of the shampoo %26amp; conditioner can differ, make sure the type is the same.
like............ if herbal essence Conditioner is for dry hair, the garnier fructis Shampoo should be for dry hair as well.
Use Moroccan oIL AS YOUR CONDITIONER WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE SHOWER - its the best!

Good moisturizing shampoo/conditioner?
Last week I died my hair two times, because I was trying to reach the shade I was wanting. I gave up and got highlights today, so now my hair is really dry (obviously) I have been dying my hair for a year now.
I need a good moisturizing shampoo for hair thats dry from coloring, and also that helps color not fade. I need it to perferably be under 5 dollars a bottle, cheap but it works, you know? Any suggestions? Thanks =)Good moisturizing shampoo/conditioner?
Something that will work for you? I'd say Pantene Intensive Moisture. Each tube is like six bucks though. That and, oh, Aussie. Both are excellent and fairly cheap. I should know, I once dyed my hair seven times in two weeks. Either of those will rescue your hair, promise.Good moisturizing shampoo/conditioner?
Hands down Dove Intesnse Damange Therapy. It's a serum and it made my hair super soft. I love it
products by Joico are amazing - you could use their K-Pak line with great results. Joico is only available through salons, so call around to find it in your area.
The absolute best is Organix. It has organic active ingredients, won't strip your color and is sulfate free so it won't dry out your hair, plus...it smells AWESOME! Organix has different collections for different hair types whcih are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, CVS, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath %26amp; Beyond, Rite-Aid, etc. You'll love it!!!

I have had highlights and have had my hair dyed for over a year. The best shampoo and conditioner that I have found is Amplify. I would suggest the kind in the light teal colored bottle, but if the orange bottle one best suits your needs then go for it. :] Anyways, I like to get the Amplify hair products on sale and they are worth the money. I am sorry to say that I don't know how much they cost right off the top of my head but I do enjoy them. I hope that my answer was a bit of help for you, have a great day. Good luck finding the perfect shampoo/conditioner for you!

bed head makes a deep conditioner that has sunflower seed oil in it, that stuff saved my life when i decided to bleach the crap out of it and i have dark brown hair.
they also have a shampoo and conditioner called moisture maniac. those are both really good too.
I use Garnier
garnier's color protecting line! All there stuff is great and not expensive!

Good shampoo&conditioner for oily hair
right now im using herbal essences for greasy roots and dry ends.. but its not really working. after i wash my hair, its really soft and everything, but a few hours later it gets oily. and by the time i wake up in the morning, its just really NASTY. what kind of shampoo should i use that will prevent my hair from getting so oily? *preferably a shampoo/conditioner that i can easily find in a drug store or salon store [price doesnt matter].
thanks :)Good shampoo%26amp;conditioner for oily hair
I use dove. But my trick is that I will condition my hair FIRST and then shampoo it. It is a little harder to comb but it doesn't get greasy as fast. Doing this will also give you more volume. I can't remember which magazine I read this in. It was either Cosmo, Glamour or Marie Claire. But it really worked for me.Good shampoo%26amp;conditioner for oily hair
Add in a tablespoon of honey and lemon when you wash your hair. It helps decrease the oil in your hair.
Also, use less conditioner... Use it only on your ends to keep them from splitting.
When your hair is greasy in between showers, out a little talc powder or baby powder in it to soak up the oil. *A little bit!*
Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo is a nice shampoo too!
Hope this helps!!! =D
Tea Tree by Paul Mitchell seems to work good! But im not sure if you can buy it in a drug store. also browse the suave products they have great variety and seem to work awesome! :)
hope i helped! good luck! :)
Use a cleansing shampoo once a week to rince out product and oil.

I have a few shampoo/conditioner questions?!?
1. do u condition ur hair twice after shampooing? or how many times?
2. do u ever co-wash ur hair? [co-wash meaning putting conditioner on ur hair only, without shampoo] and how often?
thx in advance =PI have a few shampoo/conditioner questions?!?
Its like: I wash, I then apply a deep-conditioning mask. I cover my hair with a shower cap, apply heat from a hair dryer. When I remove, my hair is very soft, I dont need anything else to detangle my hair. I dont co-wash my hair, it will only block my pores, cause build-up of products and pollutants on my hair. 1. Depending on how my hair feels after i shampoo (e.x. if it feels dry)i might condition it more than once. but depending on how good your conditioner is or if u hav a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner

I condition my hair 1-2 times a week. Everyone is different...I have to wash my hair everyday.

I have really poofy frizzy hair that is very dry and damaged and Aussie Moist works much better for me than John Frieda. I found with John Frieda I got a build up on a my hair and even with the build up my hair was still dry and frizzy. Aussie is cheaper and works better.

what are best products for coloured hair??Best shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair?
honey shampoo from The Body Shop.Best shampoo/conditioner for coloured hair?
Garnier Fructis for color-treated/permed hair is really fantastic. My color stays better, and my hair looks very healthy. I would definitely recommend it above Herbal Essences version of the same thing.
Pantene Pro-V
Try Pantene Pro-V Winter Rescue Complete Therapy Conditioner (during the Winter season) and Head %26amp; Shoulders Dry Scalp Care Shampoo help you stay suave with moisture-locking ingredients. Also, you can try Head %26amp; Shoulders Dry Scalp Care Shampp. Its HydraZinc formula has six times the moisturizers of non-conditioning shampoos. And, as always, H%26amp;S controls dandruff, which half of us get (throuh only one in four uses an anti-dandruff product).
Dove
I use Redken. It's kind of pricey but well worth it. I get it from my stylist who is a Redkin approved color expert. I'm sure you can get there products at most salons and Sally.
Go to the hair salon and ask for GOLDWELL.

Pantene pro-v it works really well, can be found almost anywhere, and is really cheap.

Pantene Pro-V.
Shampoo is meant to remove dirt, sebum (a.k.a. oils), and product buildup from your hair. But there are dozens of different brands to choose from, and even more types within those brands. The same goes for conditioners. Conditioners are meant to add shine, protect hair from drying out and allow for easier combing.
Hair conditioners fall into different groups according to what you want to accomplish with your hair. People with thin hair need a specific kind of ';conditioner';, people with thick, dry hair need another...
Conditioners fall into six major categories:
==================================
1)Moisturizers
2)Reconstructors
3)Acidifiers
4)Detanglers
5)Thermal Protectors
6)Glossers
7)Oils (E.F.A.'s- essential fatty acids)
1)Moisturizers: Are concentrated with humectants. Humectants are compounds that attract and hold moisture into the hair. They may not necessarily contain botanicals or protein (they often do).
2)Reconstructors: Normally contain protein. Hydrolyzed human hair keratin protein is the best source, because it contains all 19 amino acids found in the hair. Human hair keratin protein has a low molecular weight. This enables the it to penetrate the hair shaft (the cortex). The main purpose of a reconstructor is to strengthen the hair.
3)Acidifiers: The key word here is ';acid';. Yes, is is good to put acid on your hair. When a product carries a pH of 2.5 to 3.5 it is normally termed an acidifier. This pH will close (compact) the cuticle layer of the hair. The result is shiny, bouncy hair. This pH range will adjust the beta bonds to alpha bonds (hydrogen bonds). Acidifiers do not weigh the hair. They do create shine, and add elasticity. This category is great for people with fine textured hair.
4)Detanglers: Most detanglers are acidifiers (see above). Most have low pH's 2.5 to 3.5. They close the cuticle of the hair which cause tangles. Some ';shield'; the hair shaft with polymers (polymers are strings of ';like'; molecules- a chain). Some detanglers are instant, some take 1-5 minutes to work.
5)Thermal Protectors: Thermal protectors safeguard the hair against heat. Using thermal protectors are one of the best things you can do to your hair if you blow dry, use curling irons, or hot rollers. They normally use heat absorbing polymers that distribute the heat, so your hair does not get heat damage (a major cause of hair damage)
6)Glossers: For the most part glossers are cosmetic. Most Glossers contain dimethicone or cyclomethicone ( very light oils derived from silicone). Used in small amounts they reflect light. Also, they are one of the best products to control the ';frizzies.';
7)Oils (E.F.A.'s): If you have dry hair (esp. if you have chemicals on your hair color-perm-relaxer} you need to add oil to your hair. The scalp produces a natural oil called sebum. EFA's are the closest thing to natural sebum (sebum contain EFA'S). EFA's can take very dry and porous hair and transform it into soft pliable hair.

i have blonde, thin, flat, wavy-straight hair
-drugstore stuff
thanks:)What shampoo/conditioner should i get?
i would go for the john frieda highlight activating volumising shampoo and conditioner which you can buy from boots for 4.69 per bottle if you really want to enhance the blonde in your hair also get the john frieda luminous colur glaze serum for blonde hair it works wonders although it is expensive at 6.84 per bottle also from boots it lasts forever be sure to read how to apply it onto the hair as it doesnt go on like a shampoo. good luck. What shampoo/conditioner should i get?
im not an expert...but i went to a convention for a vitamin recently that had a lot of doctors speaking and a doctor went on stage and talked about how terrible herbal essence is for you. it has a ton of toxins in it and it seeps into your scalp and kills brain cells. I immediately came home and threw mine away! also, i went to get my haircut recently and the lady at the salon told me that pantene had alot of wax in it and its not good for your hair! yikes...i dont know what to do either!!!
get the sedu!
i love it, heres me. this is the second day without washing it, using my sedu on the first day. ofcourse i washed it that night haha.

Shampoo/conditioner advice?
Okay, I know this is a pitiful problem but I hate when I have to buy new shampoo and conditioner because I have yet to find anything I really like that works. My hair is just past my shoulders, straight and dark blonde, if that helps any. I've tried mostly tried different varieties of Suave, Pantene, Dove, and Garnier Fructis but haven't found one works better than the other. Dove and Garnier Fructis actually made my hair incredibly soft but as limp and dull as a wet noodle. Any suggestions? What has and has not worked for you?
Thanks!Shampoo/conditioner advice?
i started useing garnier sleek and shine and wow what a diffrence after 4 to five times using it u will start to notice how much more manage able it is and bouny and shiny just remember its like the real deal salon stuff so when you use it only put as much as about the size of two quarters for shampoo and size of 1 1/2 quarter for conditioner glad i could helpShampoo/conditioner advice?
When you take a shower in the morning, just get your hair really wet and massage your scalp briskly with your fingertips like you are washing it. Water will dissolve any product you have used. This takes at least as much time as actually washing it and conditioning and rinsing, so it doesn't actually shorten the routine much.
After a couple of days, you will notice that your hair is very manageable, and it does not get smelly. Sometimes I spray a little scented body spray in my hair when it is dry - I like the smell of roses.
Anyhow, it has been a veritable miracle with my hair.
And try lush's Godiva shampoo/conditioner bar
They make it so soft because they coat your hair and leave residue that weighs down your hair. If you think about how much a single hair weighs you can imagine what little amount of weight it would take to weigh it down and make it limp. Use a good clarifying shampoo, I actually like Cost Cutter's brand the best and it's cheaper than say Matrix's line and it's safe to use daily even on colored hair. Then use a detangler for a conditioner. I like Biolage Detangling Solution for mine.
Dont buy shampoos in drugstores, its the worst for your hair. The best hair cosmetic is sold in the saloons such as matrix, kerastase, joico, schwarzkopf etc.If you wonder why all the models or celebrities has so nice hair, this is the trick. They use professional hair cosmetic. The only negative thing is that its more expensive but it definitely worth for it.All the cheap shampoos contain very bad silicons which damage your hair.If you cant afford to buy hair cosmetic in the hair salon, try to buy it in the pharmacy...they have very good brands such as klorane etc. They are cheaper and almost the same effective.Good luck!
Loreal Vive works really great and I love the shampoo and conditioner that you buy at the hair salon (you can get it at target too) its called Biologe. That is the best shampoo and conditioner to get and it smells great. But I use Loreal Vive and it works great. Good luck
Pantene works the best for me, I buy cheap shampoo, because mostly its the conditioner that counts. White rain $ucks. Try finesse, pert if they still have it, or maybe a more expensive shampoo/conditioner that they have in salons. good Luck Try VO5
Pantene forever. I have tried very expensive and very cheap shampoos and conds. but I always come back to pantene. I never used to colour my hair (but know age says that I really must) but for both with or without colour I still stick to Pantene.x
Go for Sunsilk
i think its perfect i have thick brown hair about the middle of my back i love the feeling after i wash it
if you want fuller hair with more volume then blow dry it upside down :)
herbal essences conditioner is great and paul mitchell products are fantastic
clairol herbal essences! i love their products, they make my hair nice and sleek, but also with body. and they smell soooo good.
you should use the whole hair care product line:
shampoo, conditioner, hairspray/ moose.....
I think you should try Matrix product.
I have super straight dark brunette hair, and matrix product works like a magic..
Try the Matrix line of products at the beauty salon
matrix biolage, nexus, or if there to exspensive aussie or sunsilk.

Shampoo, Conditioner Recommendations?
What is a good brand of shampoo, not to expensive, that doesn't leave your hair feeling dry? I have long thick hair so most shampoo's and conditioners leave my hair in knots. I am currently trying out Aussie brand.
Suave doesn't work well for me.
my hair stylist told me that shampoo's and conditioners with alcohol make your hair dry out, so I am trying to avoid that.Shampoo, Conditioner Recommendations?
I use pantene, it works for me ;)Shampoo, Conditioner Recommendations?
PureOlogy! My mother owns a hair salon, and this is the product line we love. It's all natural, 100% vegan, and very concentrated.
I'm telling you it's very concentrated because that means you need to use a very small amount each time you wash and condition your hair. The prices are a bit expensive, but both my mother and I have long hair and the liter bottles last us (both using it) more than a year. In our salon the shampoo and conditioner are $45 each for a liter size bottle. We also sell smaller (about 10 oz) and larger (gallon) sizes. We sell the smaller for $24 each, and the gallons for $65 each (good luck finding a salon that will sell you a gallon though! Most businesses are more interested in making a profit rather than helping the consumer, and gallons do not make as much of a profit for the business owner). While that may sound pricey, remember: these bottles will last you a long time!
PureOlogy is only supposed to be sold in salons, so ask your stylist about it.
lots of hairdressers say not to use pantene! But i love it! the conditioner makes my hair so silky i dnt even need to brush it! mm nd it smells real clean and fresh too!! u shud try it out! i also really want to try the new pantene three minute miracle sumtym? maybe try pantene deep conditionin mask.
Try Pantene!
Herbal Essences or Sunsilk.
Both are really really good smelling and work for my thick medium length hair. =]]
garnier fructis! use the shine one. it makes your hair soo smooth and shiny. 4 dollars each for huge bottles. and, it smells great, too!

Dove makes your hair REALLY soft
pantene, it works and smells good
What I like the best (that is cheap) is Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. In about a month I saw an improvement in my hair, it became shinier, softer, and there was less breakage from my split ends.
But, if you want a completely alcohol-free shampoo %26amp; conditioner (a bit more pricey) get the vegan, all natural brand Abba. It's available at drugstores.

honestly.. there isnt really a miracle shampoo to make your hair less big and more straight. going to see a hair dresser and getting her or him put in layers to get rid of the bulk will help soo much.. theres also a few salon treatments (chemical) that will help you get it straight.. the one my salon does is called a veritcal.. if you dont want to do any of that try a hair serum like john fredia's frizz ease.. works wonders.. throw it in damp hair and blow dry straight with a big round brush then flat iron.. good luck!

Hair damage repair shampoo+conditioner?
Hiya. My hair is very very curly and thick. I dye it, and it has become pretty frizzy and broken. I need a shampoo+conditioner that won't weigh my curls down, but will moisturize and repair color/styling damage. Any price is okay, drugstore or salon.Hair damage repair shampoo+conditioner?
either go to your salon and get a conditioning treatment for like 10 dollars or buy redken extreme rescue force its about 15 a tube
http://www.redken.com/products/haircare/…
it works really good for damaged hair and smells wonderful. I have used it and i also dye and use chemicals on my hair sometimes it makes it soo soft.
I also recommend tresemme thermal recovery replenshing shampoo and conditioner it has aloe vera so it adds shine and softness.
http://www.tresemme.com/heat/products/th…Hair damage repair shampoo+conditioner?
always make sure your hair is oiled not greased oiled.you should use olive oil sheen spray
you can use some of the following shampoos
Garnier Fruictis hair breakage therapy or anti frizz control
Purple kangaroo shampoo
Pantere color restoration
for the frizz you can use
Garnier anti frizz control
or
bed head spray. You should use curly or you can pick whatever color your hair is because the bottle will say bed head for blonds or for brunettes,or for straight hair, color control, etc.
I hope this helps. P.S. all of these brand work for all races.

Shampoo/conditioner to make hair thinner?
my hair is kinda thick, and because it's thick, my hair looks kind of poofy. whats a good shampoo/conditioner to make my hair thinner?Shampoo/conditioner to make hair thinner?
IDKShampoo/conditioner to make hair thinner?
use Pantene smooth and silky...it works great
you need a good shampoo and conditioner Try using Biologe shampoo and conditioner smoothing shampoo. If you have to get over the counter Find one that says smoothing shampoo and conditioner. I don't like pantene it builds up non the hair and makes it look oily on top and dry on bottom with long time use 20 years experience.

Shampoo/Conditioner for oily hair?
My hair is very very thin so I have to wash it every day because if not it'll get really greasy the next day. The thing is, its only greasy on like the roots area. The rest is kind of frizzy from dying it so much, so I have to get moisturizing shampoos to hydrate it but it makes it more greasy, and on top of that, all of the ones I tried either make it worse or give me dandruff. What good shampoo out there works for it or what can I do?Shampoo/Conditioner for oily hair?
Here's what you do. Get yourself a shampoo that says ';normalizing'; or ';balancing';. That will help with the oil production on your scalp. When you use conditioner, only apply it to the middle and ends of your hair. Conditioners contain waxes and oils and are making your problem worse when you get it on your scalp.
As nice as it is to get by with ';cheap'; products, salon quality products really are the only way to go. Good luck.Shampoo/Conditioner for oily hair?
no no no....get pantene pro V for oily hair shampoo and conditioner....It seems to me that your hair follicles and scalp are used to oily build up so you're going to have to use the shampoo/conditioner for oily hair. Plus you should wash your hair with cold water one time and nothing else to get the oil out. If you usually shampoo with hot/warm water your hair will be more oily...so try rinsing with cold water from root to tip and your hair will be less oily. Then the next time you shampoo..use the pantene pro v and you'll be set!
P.S. even though i'm a boy...trust me I know because I have long hair like that and so does my girlfriend. We got some oily heads!

Which shampoo/conditioner?
i am currently using aussie moist but i wanted to switch it up. which one....herbal essences hello hydration or aussie sun touched shine?Which shampoo/conditioner?
herbal essence. i really like all their products because they actually work and smell wicked good! not to mention- you're getting rid of your recent aussie shampoo.. do you want almost the same thing again? they all smell the same too.Which shampoo/conditioner?
i would say herdal essence.
thats what i use and people are always randomly giving my hair compliments.
and a bonus, they all smell pretty good. :)
I love Dove
I absolutly LOVE Herbal Essences because it has a shampoo for every person's hair type:
Body Envy - use to get a lot of volume and body
Breaks Over - strenghthening against damage (breakage/split ends)
Color Me Happy - for color treated hair to shine
Dangerously Straight - for pin straight hair (fights humitiy damage)
Drama Clean - for a refreshing clean feeling (perfect for girls with oily hair)
Hello Hydration - for girls with hair that needs mositure
None Of Your Frizzness - for frizz control
No Flakin Way - for girls that get dandruff
Totally Twisted - for perfect curls and waves
It works really well for me and leaves my hair shiny and less oily. It also smells really really good! I HIGHLY recomend it!! Good Luck! :)
i used aussie sun touch shine
garnier has different kinds but they really help. i get the mousturizing kind. people say it smells good and it looks very healhy
ummm i have treseeme mositure rich and i have hebal essence body envy i'd get the aussie over the herbal essence
Herbal Essences stops working after a while. I've tried 'Hello Hydration' %26amp; 'Dangerously Straight'. Redken is really good %26amp; so is John Frieda - thats the one I currently use. =)
Pantene is not good; it coats your hair in wax, and thats what makes it appear healthier . . but it causes your hair to get greasy and it doesn't repair anything.
If you like the Aussie sent stick with the second one. I personally use also both of these brands but Aussie is more heavy so I just use that after colouring my hair or as a treatment once a month. The rest of the time I use Herbal essences cause I love the smell. :D
pantene not to bad
Pantene is so good. I always use the anti breakage for my bleached blonde hair or total repair. I dont use the shine ones as they make my roots greasy.

Which shampoo and conditioner set would you recommend?
Garnier Fructis, Dove, Head %26amp; Shoulders, or Pantene? I'm mainly looking for one that doesn't only smell good, but it MAKES your HAIR smell good as well, and that isn't full of chemicals.Which shampoo and conditioner set would you recommend?
None of the above. Go with Redken.Which shampoo and conditioner set would you recommend?
never tried head and shoulders or Dove, but i have tried garnier Fructis and Pantene and i recommend both! Personally, i like the smell of Pantene better and it makes your hair softer right after the first shower, but they're both still good though. I actually would buy both because after a month or so, your chemicals in your head will get used to your shampoo and conditioner and won't keep your hair as clean as long, so if you have a different shampoo and conditoner, your hair will stay better smelling longer.
All of the ones you listed are full of chemicals. If you want a good natural shampoo, try Aveda or go to Walgreen's and check out their new line of natural shampoos and conditioners. There are tons to choose from. Of the ones you mentioned, I love Pantene because the products work the way the bottle says they do. Garnier smells the best. Dove shampoo is just ordinary and I have yet to find something special about it, but it's never ruined my hair or anything. I wouldn't put Head %26amp; Shoulders on my hair if you paid me.
the only decent one to use from above is the dove range
pantene is the worst thing to use on your hair because it coats your hair in silicone (to make it look relly shiny)
but this is bad because it acts as a barrier to colour perms etc
i know from experience
head and shoulders is probly to harsh to use every time
try loreal elvive range...its fab and cheap
Neither. I would try a shampoo and conditioner from Lamas Beauty
They are all natural, smell good and are GREAT for your hair!
Peter Lamas鈥?pure %26amp; natural philosophy: Today鈥檚 hair can be as shiny, healthy and full of life as Nature intended 鈥?without harsh chemicals and artificial ingredients.
pantene is the best is the one i use.if ur ever going to leave ur hair curly leave sum of the conditioner on ur hair the curls *** out nicer. Pantene has many shampoo's and conditioners. just read the back and see wich one is the one that ur hair needs depending on the damage.
Im not sure, tho, i use Garnier Fructis, and i love the smell of it. And Head and Shoulders too. Both smell really good and im not sure if its full of chemicals. You can call the companies if you really want to know.
i use pantene. you want to know a secret ok well. was your hair with pantene shampoo and conditioner then rinse it out get out dry it all little then add proclaim cholestrol then add pantene daily oil brush hair then leave it down or in a pony tail

Best Shampoo and Conditioner for damaged hair??
ive used so much heat on my hair like straightning irons and stuff, and my hairs dry, whats a really good shampoo and conditioner for damaged, dry hair? what will make it shiny, smooth, and healthy? thanksBest Shampoo and Conditioner for damaged hair??
Use moisutrizing shampoo and conditioner; Biolage is great !! also BioSilk used in conjunction with heat irons will make your hair ';appear'; shiny %26amp; healthy, Loreal has a new pro-product on the shelf now,
Good luck.Best Shampoo and Conditioner for damaged hair??
Basically anything with vitamins in it will help if you dye your hair, straighten it, blow dry it, curl it, anything like that. If you have a problem with your hair falling out because it's so damaged, make SURE to get something with vitamins in it. I prefer Herbal Essences, because they have a shampoo for dry, damaged hair that's also for colored hair, and almost every single one of their shampoos and conditioners have vitamins in them.
Also, L'Oreal, and a few other brands have heat-activated shampoos and conditioners, meaning they stop your hair from breaking as much as it normally would when you heat it.
I straighten my hair a lot, and I can tell you that putting a protective mousse or spray into your hair is the best thing to do before you straighten it. It might feel a little odd, but it's a good idea but it makes it so your hair doesn't have that 'fried' look.
I also supplied a link that tells you different ways to make it so your hair doesn't look damaged, even if it is.
Hm I've been there - straightners tend to give you drier hair and split ends so first of all make sure you get frequent haircuts to keep your hair healthy and get rid of damaged ends.
My favourite shampoo for this kind of hair is Salon Silk by Tresemme. It is super nourishing and when used with shine serum makes your hair really shiny.
If you have a slightly bigger budget, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle is great. It will soften your hair immediately.
Also, it would be wise to invest in some hot oil packs for the ends of your hair to give it a moisture boost.
I've been using Herbal Essence's Breaks Over strengthening shampoo. I noticed a difference pretty fast. Also, male sure you use a heat protector spray before styling. I use the Pantene one. It has made a huge difference in the frizz level for me.
herbal essences Dangerously straight.

Can i wash my cat with my shampoo and conditioner?
NO!!! Use a shampoo for cats...
blCan i wash my cat with my shampoo and conditioner?
pobably not a good idea. People shampoo and conditioner leaves a residue in the hair. Cats constantly lick their hair and it can make them sick.
Many people say that Dawn Dishwashing soap is great for kittens. I washed my kitten with it and it worked great. Can i wash my cat with my shampoo and conditioner?
No!!!! Unless you have a cat that goes outside, do not wash them. They clean themselves better than any man made shampoo's can. If you have a cat that is mostly an out door cat, then buy a cat safe brand from your local vet.
No... it will leave residue and she will lick it when cleaning. Cats are very sensitive to toxic things too. Usually you don't need (or want) to wash a cat but there are products for it
like this

no it makes their skin itchy and dry. it also gives them dandrift
Dont it make there skin dry go to a store and buy cat shampoo its better for them.
no! you should only use a shampoo and conditioner that is designed specifically for cats
I would use only products formulated for cats.
i use to give my cat a bath but with cat shampooblush brush

Best shampoo and conditioner?
Hello. I'm a guy and i have semi long hair. I occasionally straighten it. I just want to know what shampoo will leave my hair soft.Best shampoo and conditioner?
I know this is for girls but I have some guy friends that use it and they love it I also love it but try Herbal EssencesBest shampoo and conditioner?
Though it may not be ';the best'; I recently switched to ';Organix'; Coconut Milk Nourishing shampoo and conditioner and love it! It smells pretty (not strong though...it wont leave you smelling like a girl) and has really helped my flyaways. My hair is softer than it has been in years and I think the conditioner kind of ';soaks'; into your hair because by the time I go to rinse it out it already feels rinsed.
my brothers love this soft and they staighten there hair too and it keeps it real soft!! :))
http://www.target.com/Axe-Just-Soft-Cond鈥?/a>
hope i helpedd!!
i think that Aussie Moist is the best for my semi long hair
Herbel Esenses.
Anything from Paul Mitchell...i love their stuff

Is mane n tail shampoo and conditioner good?
is mane n tail a good shampoo and conditioner cause i use it and it does help
if u used it how did it help or not help your hair
cause it says it helps not get split ends is this trueIs mane n tail shampoo and conditioner good?
It is good only if you have thick coarse hair. If you have average or fine hair you will find it makes your hair way greasy.

Does your partner use more shampoo/conditioner than you? Even though he has shorter hair?
It's such a waste and shampoo and conditioner is so expensive these days heh.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has the same thing happen.
It's not big deal. I'm just wondering.Does your partner use more shampoo/conditioner than you? Even though he has shorter hair?
ha ha ha ha i had to laugh at this one he is bald so he uses soap to wash his scalp ha ha ha still laughingDoes your partner use more shampoo/conditioner than you? Even though he has shorter hair?
I would get him his own and keep yours somewhere else. He might not be as picky.
I don't have a partner. But if I had one that used more shampoo or conditioner than I do, he'd have to get a second job. I wouldn't be able to get a brush through my hair without conditioner and my hair is almost waist length.
LOL No - not that I know of. I am woman, I might find it strange if my husband was using conditioner for his hair. But what I like to do is buy him his very own shampoo. I don't mind if he is using mine, but I like him to know I am looking out for him and buying him nice smelling men's shampoo, then he doesn't have to put my flowerery smelly shampoo in his hair.
I vote: Stop griping and join the rest of the struggling spending world and start clipping those coupons, sugar. You'd be surprised perhaps to know that even name brand shampoos, conditioners, and all-in-ones have coupons provided by most commonly the product manufacturers.
By the way, what some spouses do is saved used-up bottles and fill them up with inexpensive men's hair-care products, discreetly switching the bottles as necessary so that the real stuff is available only to them. No way should you experiment with substituting dishwashing detergent, that stuff definitely is not mild enough for a scalp; and, in addition, could possibly lead to legal action by hubby against you should he be injured.
LOL. i'm finding this question so funny because it's so true for me and my man. he has really short hair and i had super long hair and he would use HEAPS more shampoo than me!! and i know it was all going on his head because we'd shower together....
i'm still trying to figure out why.... but it's funny to know that other people are experiencing the same thing!
Not really, but he stays in the shower forever using more hot water than necessary (so expensive these days hehe).
If this is your only problem you have it good.
For the holidays buy him a giant bottle of shampoo and conditioner.
Be happy he has hair to wash.
My sister uses loads of shampoo, but hardly any conditioner.
So am left with a shampoo deficit, and have to take advantage of 3 for 2 offers.
Yeah, to solve this I think you should just fill his shampoo bottle with dish washing detergent. It is all just soap and that is much cheaper.
OMG u guys...he isn't using it for his hair...he's using it as a lubricant during his quality alone time...soap makes them raw...conditioner is best to use...
Nope my hair is all the way down to my butt so i use more shampoo/conditioner
sorry hon,the scuzz bag only uses water,me on the other hand buys
20.00 shampoos and conditioners.
If she wants shampoo she'll have to buy her own
nope.
maybe just buy him the cheap $1 bottle of suave you see at the grocery store *hehe*
no he doesn't he has less hair should use less. try mixing it with water to make it go a long way... and shop at the dollar store... if u are tight on cash
No, not that i know of. Have you ever thought that maybe he is putting down there?
He needs to buy and use his own products and a guy using conditioner? Ugh.blush brush

The best volume boosting shampoo and conditioner (big sexy hair?)?
I have used alot of different brands.
I am looking at purchasing something different and have searched the net for reviews and havent really found anything.
I am torn between the these products....
'BIG SEXY HAIR',
L'OREAL PROFESSIONNEL SERIE EXPERT VOLUME EXPAND
MATRIX BIOLAGE BODIFYING
PHILIP KINGSLEY BODY BUILDING
Has anyone used any of these and what would you suggest.
Also I am looking to buy them off lookfantastic.com
thank youThe best volume boosting shampoo and conditioner (big sexy hair?)?
I have used most of these %26amp; they aren't bad at all but I would recommend TIGI Catwalk Thickening Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner %26amp; TIGI Catwalk Thickening Cream. They are quite pricey but the results are well worth it. Shampoo hair twice using a small amount of shampoo %26amp; towel dry hair then apply a small amount of the conditioner throughout the hair (from roots to tips, not advised with most conditioners). Leave for 3-5mins %26amp; rinse thoroughly. Use 1 or 2 pumps of the thickening cream, rub it between your hands then apply to towel dried hair, imagine you are trying to clean your hands in your hair, use your hair to clean the product from your hands (the correct way to apply product to wet hair). The thickening cream is heat activated so you will need to blow dry the hair with a large round brush taking small sections %26amp; starting with the back of your hair. These products should be available on eBay but if not you could try the TIGI Bedhead Superstar Shampoo, Conditioner %26amp; Blow-dry LotionThe best volume boosting shampoo and conditioner (big sexy hair?)?
Get the aussie volumising shampoo its amazing!! and straightener your hair and when you do the roots of your hair curl the straighterner abit and it will give you a bounce
i use the victorias secret shampoo and conditioner, it works really well, and what also works good is aussie shampoo and conditioner.

Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner?
Does it work after just one use? Is it bad for your hair? I heard it would make it break off?Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner?
nope, i don't think it would work after just one use. cause i've tried it since my hair was flat for about a month and it didn't really do anything. so i changed shampoo.

What shampoo and conditioner?
Would be best for hair that is dyed, sort of damaged at the ends and shiny on the top?!
ThanksWhat shampoo and conditioner?
I would reccomend any of them conditioners (shampoos to match)
http://www.dove.co.uk/#/Products/Hair/ga鈥?/a>
They are all very good. Also lather your hair all over and leave for 5minutes, your hair will be better in now time =)
Have a nice week xxWhat shampoo and conditioner?
Use a shampoo and conditioner that is moisturizing, and formulated specifically for dyed hair. Some product lines have shampoos and conditioners specifically for a color like brunette, blond, or red. Look into using a hair mask that will add more moisture and help to repair the dried ends. You could also have your hair dresser give you a trim to get rid of the damaged parts. It will make your hair look healthier.
I had the same thing going on with my hair. I get my hair platinum blonde and the best shampoo and conditioner that has made my hair softer and made the ends less likely to break or have damage is Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion. It works really good that one and the Dove Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner. Don't waste your money on the expensive stuff to try and mend your hair cuz the stuff i just named works WAAAY good! And my hair used to be fried cuz of the toughness the bleaching had on my hair.
my hair is like that too, i use tresemme colour revitalising shampoo and conditioner 5 days a week and the other 2 i use tresseme anti breakage shampoo and conditioner, i also get about 1 - 2 cm trimmed off my hair every 6 - 8 weeks for dead ends.
hope this helps
none. u need to get your haid healthy. no shampoo or conditioner that you buy at a store will not do this. dont dye your hair. cut the damaged ends off and use a heat protectent when using a flat iron or curling iron

It didn't work on my hair. It made it very fine and limp.
I have heard that on answers before, im not really sure but I thought about using it....
It works great! It makes your hair thicker and healthier. You know it was originally formulated for horses, right?
The only time I heard of shampoo making someone's hair fall out is when someone ELSE put hair remover in it, trying to get them back for something.
They say yes, but it made my hair fall out not completely but OMG and my friend also after I gave her my unused bottles LOL.
great

Best shampoo and conditioner?
What would be the best shampoo and conditioner for someone with wavy hair? It's not thick, but not thin;; in the middle. Oh, and if you can something that's gluten, soy, and orange free. If you're not sure, that's fine.Best shampoo and conditioner?
Try the Herbal Essences.
You can pick for your seal which kind of hair you have so the shampoo and conditioner suits your hair much better.
http://www.herbalessences.com/ca_en/
=)Best shampoo and conditioner?
Aussie - Catch The Wave
Herbal Essences - Wave - (the purple bottles)
they are all in bottles of purple!! my sister uses them and it sounds like you have the same hair type as her!! %26lt;3
YOU should use Dove and olive-oil
I would try something natural, like burts bees, if you want soy gluten and orange free, although i'm not sure if it actually IS free of all of those, it seems like your best bet.
My sister and my mother has wavy hair. They use ';Dove'; shampoo and conditioner. It really helps their hair from tangling and they say that it really helps their hair not be so hard to fix. When I wore my hair curly, I used Dove too. I am not sure that it is gluten, soy, and orange free.
you should use Nexus, it's salon hair care.
I like Mane and Tail

Straighting Shampoo and Conditioner?
What kinds really work to give my flatter straighter hair? no flat iron posts please.Straighting Shampoo and Conditioner?
I would have to suggest either biologe smoothing or paul mitchel super skinney as far as shampoo and conditioner and a serum as sush as chi silk enfushion (my favorite) as a styling product. Unfortunitely you cant get a super stright smooth look without a straight iron if you have natural curl or wave.Straighting Shampoo and Conditioner?
all they do it weight down your hair. it won't help unless you have straight hair, that you just want to be alittle flatter. That being said, pureology makes one that my friend loves.
tresemme moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and finesse! i always switch them from one week to the next, it really does work to not always use the same shampoo!blush brush

tresemme moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and finesse! i always switch them from one week to the next, it really does work to not always use the same shampoo!
How can i find fast growing hair shampoo and conditioner's?

i heard that Mane %26amp; Tails work well. It was first made for horses, but it saft on humans and you can acctually buy it in the shampoo and conditioner ileas. try it it works
Any shampoos/conditioners that say they make your hair grow faster are filled with so many chemicals and will damage your hair tremendously. I wouldn't reccomend it.

Color Treated Shampoo / Conditioner?
My hair color faded and went back to the last color I dyed it. What shampoo and conditioner works really well to keep color from fading so that it looks like the first day I colored it until I color it again?Color Treated Shampoo / Conditioner?
Garnier makes shampoo, conditioner, leave in cream, spray and a deep conditioner for color treated hair. The whole system works really well, I use it on my dyed reddish brown hair. Red is a really hard color to keep from fading, and those products kept it looking really goodColor Treated Shampoo / Conditioner?
any thing that is for color treated hair will work. these will have a more even PH level and will not strip the hair. also look into tinted shampoo that matches your hair color. it will help stretch out the in between time

Do you run out of conditioner or shampoo sooner? (If you start with both bottles full at the same time.) ?
Always run out of conditioner first...I have long hair and I need lots of conditioner. I now buy the small bottle of shampoo with the bigger bottle of conditioner to solve all of my problems!Do you run out of conditioner or shampoo sooner? (If you start with both bottles full at the same time.) ?
Shampoo.I use a lot of it.I shampoo my hair three times a day. I rarely use conditioners.Only if I am going out.I rarely go out of the house.Nowadays my mom buys two in one.So ummm...both?Do you run out of conditioner or shampoo sooner? (If you start with both bottles full at the same time.) ?
Always always always conditioner - I'm always left with bottles of shampoo with a third still in them - annoying =[[
Conditioner- I use a full 8oz glass after every shampooing.
My hair is so thick I always need to use more conditioner so I always end up with half a bottle of shampoo left when I run out of conditioner ;)
I always run out of conditioner first. Now I get a bigger bottle of conditioner than shampoo.
LOL I always run out of conditioner first, and then I buy more... and then shampoo runs out so I need more conditioner... lol it's a vicious cycle!

Most shampoos, in my experience tend to be drying to curly hair.Shampoo and conditioner help for curly hair HELP!!!?

1.) In the shower, wash hair with a gentle clarifying shampoo like Nexxus Aloe Rid,
and then a separate moisturizing conditioner (no shampoo-and-conditioner-in-one products). Curly hair is dry and brittle by nature, so it needs products that renew and moisturize. Try Pantene's ';Hydrating Curls'; or Herbal Essences ';Hello Hydration'; for conditioner.
I have the same problem. I use one of two shampoo and conditioners, depends if I want to encourage my curls, or not. When I am trying to tame my curls, I will use Paul Mitchell Tea Tree. It is a little expensive, but it works beautifully. My hair is soft and shiny. When I want to encourage my curls, I actually use the Herbal Essence totally twisted. (purple bottle set). You can get those right at any rite-aid, Longs, Durane Reed and they are relatively inexpensive.
First, figure out what your hair type is here http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types then you can decide which product is best for your curl type.

INVEST IN THE NEXXUS LINE OF HAIR PRODUCTS. I FOUND IT TO BE THE BEST FOR MY CLIENTS IN THE SALON. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT RACE YOU ARE OR WHAT TYPE OF HAIR TEXTURE YOU HAVE..THE PRODUCTS WORK.GO TO NEXXUS.COM TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THEM BEFORE YOU BUY.YOU WILL SEE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN A MATTER OF A WEEK. AS FAR AS GROWING HAIR FAST, TAKE SOME BIOTIN AND NOURISH FROM THE INSIDE ..DRINK ALOT OF WATER TOO..LIKE 6-8 GLASSES A DAY , THAT WILL HELP YOUR HAIR TOO
GOOD LUCKHow do u grow your relaxed hair quickly?also, what's a good shampoo and conditioner for this type of hair?
From my personal experience, I usually plate my hair with braids for about three month then plate without plate for about 6 weeks and I put a weave for a month maximum.
Omg that happen to me it sucks i know ok heres whatr you do
every moring have 1 Vitemin E with breacky
wash ur hair every day
it should grow back it did for mine month and its longer already
Use either Creme of Nature Shampoo and Conditioner or Mane 'N Tail Shampoo and Conditioner.
To promote hair growth you must apply a hair dressing that contains natural herbs and vitamins and message it into hair and scalp. Using the balls of your fingers will help the blood circulate which stimulates the hair follicles which promote hair growth.
The best hair conditioner and shampoo for relaxed hair that I know will work wonders is Nexus. The growth process is a genetic item, but prayer and being patient your hair will come back in time.

Best shampoo/conditioner for long hair?
what is the best shampoo and conditioner for long hair?? that makes it soft and silky but not oily or anthing. thanksBest shampoo/conditioner for long hair?
i have long hair too. i was rockin the long hair look since birth (yea, seriously). i've tried all different brands, none that have left me totally dissatisfied (except V-05). but the best i would have to say is TreSemme. as they say it really is salon quality, and it is VERY inexpensive for the great quality. any of their shampoo or conditioners are great, but i go for the ones that are for making hair smooth and silky. don't worry, they won't make your hair oily either. also for the silkyness, turn to a good blowdryer w/ a diffuser.
hope i helped u!!!
---Dabritbyrd---Best shampoo/conditioner for long hair?
If you have hair past your shoulders and want it to feel healthy and not like straw buy the herbal essences raspberry kind. get the regular shampoo but try and find the huge bottle of conditioner that way you will run out at the same time and still use enough of the conditioner to make your hair feel delightful. Basically however much conditioner you want.
I have long hair as well and I use Nexus shampoo and conditioner and when I use the conditioner and my hair is dry it is so soft!
You can buy it at Wegmans.
Here is the website link to the company.

Mane and tail . It is actually for horses, so, it will make your hair very silky but, not oily . You can get it at walgreens. And also at a pet store!! Seriously, I do not use anything but, mane and tail
Anything that doesn't have Polyquantenerum in it, is good for any hair. Polyquantenerum is something people use to wax floors with, and I'm sure you don't want that in your hair. =)
PANTENE PRO-V!
i LOVE this SHAMPOO! i USED to have LONG HAIR and i used this and it WOKS for what you're ASKING for! :) and it SMELLS GREAT TOO! :D
i USE it EVERYDAY! :)
That really depends on A LOT of factors. YOUR hair type, condition, etc. My suggestion would be to try out a couple brands that are formulated for your specific hair type and decide which one works best for you.
Definately Garnier Fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner!!!
I use it and it makes my hair really shiny. It also smells really good :)
pantene or suave it makes it smell really good and it gets your hair very silky and easy to comb

herbal ecsenses or tre'semme' they both have special formulas for long hair.

Men, do you use regular shampoo or shampoo+Conditioner. why?
THANKS.Men, do you use regular shampoo or shampoo+Conditioner. why?
My boyfriend uses both,
Why wouldn't men want to look after their hair??
All men should, unless they want their hair to stand balding or falling out! lolMen, do you use regular shampoo or shampoo+Conditioner. why?
shampoo+conditioner doesn't even work....Shampoo is made to clean your hair, and conditioner is made to moisturize and strengthen your hair. When both of them are mixed together at the same time you and you use it, it doesn't do anything, cuz one's drying your hair out and cleaning while the other is trying to moisturize and strengthen it, so they sord of cancel the effects out of each other, and nothing happens to your hair. Just buy a shampoo made for men, and buy a condition made for men (crew for men is good). Use the shampoo first, and the conditioner second, but never both at the same time, cuz it won't do anything.
Not a man but a cosmetologist
Men and women have some things in comman one would be
hair, everyone has to do the hair thing and some men have routine visits to their barber or stylist, use good quality products, using bargin products is costly in the long run!
Keep nails groomed, beard trimed and neat!
PS the shampoo and conditioner don't have to say ';for men';
reviveu2

Can shampoo/conditioner cause back acne?
i feel as though every time i use a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner i get acne on my back, and i have never had this before last year
i don't know if there's a connection but it happened at the time i used L'Oreal Vive and now Infusium Moisturology
is there something in the shampoo that may cause it (I have long hair)
it just doesn't make much sense because i use Biosilk (an oily serum), and i have been using it for quite some time so i know that's not the cause. Can shampoo/conditioner cause back acne?
Yes, depending on the ingredients in them. I have the same problem with certain brands and have to be very careful with what I use due to sensitive skin. Try switching to a previous type that you didn't have a problem with.
Good Luck! Can shampoo/conditioner cause back acne?
IT CAN SIMPLY BE BECAUSE UR HAIR IS OILY BECOZ OF THE SERUM....AND IF U HAVE UR HAIR DOWN OFTEN IT COZES ACNE ON UR BACK...SO TRY WASHIN UR HAIR OFTEN N GO EZ ON THE SERUM...
I doubt it - but it's not impossible -
When you use it take a lufa to your back and scrub with soap to make sure you get off any residue -
If it only happens when you do this - discontinue the shampoo/conditioner - you have a reaction to it - (if the above won't help).
It does sound like you're allergic. Just try using a different shampoo for a few weeks and see if it clears up.

What shampoo & conditioner do you use?
water %26amp; soap....i am bald......WHAT?What shampoo %26amp; conditioner do you use?
Sunsilk colour :-)What shampoo %26amp; conditioner do you use?
Suave shampoo for curls. No conditioner as it weights my hair down. I have expensive brands of shampoo too such as Amplify by Matrix, and something from Bath %26amp; Body Works, but nothing works as good (for me anyway) as Suave.
pantene pro-v smooth and sleek
The BEST THING EVER is Loreal's Color Protect (Yeah, the red one with Milla Jovovich) lol I had my hair in HORRIBLE condition, it saved my life.
Also, if u don dye ur hair so often and like flowery sweet smells, i suggest u buy Herbal Essences. Good Brand.
sunsilk or dove
Garnier Fructis, I think it's called ';length and strength,'; something like that. I have damaged hair, and it works really well for that.
Sunsilk anti- poof or sunsilk antifrizz...y do u care?
pantene restortives
Pantene
TRESemme
I use Head%26amp;Shoudlers, but that new tropical kind that makes your hair all tingly.
Loreal's Color Protect :)

Which shampoo/conditioner is better?
Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Shampoo/Conditioner
VO5 Moisture Milks Strawberries %26amp; Cream Shampoo/Conditioner
If you haven't used them both, how did the one you did work? I have wavy-curly hair.Which shampoo/conditioner is better?
I also have curly hair and do not use silicone products. I prefer Suave products. I've used V05, but find them to be too watery with little slip. It's preference though.Which shampoo/conditioner is better?
Suave naturals smells better ( more original)
VO5 works better to make our hair more shiney and strong
suave is better for the environment
VO5 has Collinge in it
hard disison if you want better smelling hair Suave (VO5 smells good too)
if you want long and shniey hair VO5
i would go with suave
I have wavy-curly hair %26amp; I prefer Infusium in the gray bottle for frizz. It works soooo good!!!! It costs more $ but it is so worth it! I've never had a good experience w/ Suave or VO5...or white rain...
here's what else I do for my curls:
my hair is to the middle of my butt so for styling afterwards, I use 3 squirts of the turquoise blue pump bottle of Curls Rock by Tigi (I find them buy 1 g 1 half off @ JC Penney salon %26amp; other places). I pick through my hair to evenly distribute it. Then I finish of w/ Aussie Sprunch Spray (smells like grape coolaid mmm) %26amp; scrunch my hair. Comes out really nice w/ the curls. :) I use a lot of the Sprunch spray because my hair is so long.
VO5 Moisture Milks Strawberries %26amp; Cream Shampoo/Conditioner.
My hair is so smooth after and i spend less time straightening it.
I have Suave Naturals and I love it.
I heard that Suave Naturals was really good
I love VO5 because it makes my hair smell good!!!!!
pantene pro-v : ice shine or renewal
they are amazing
i wont use anything else
I only use Dove now.I have curly hair too.Curly hair is drier than most.

What's your fav. organic or natural shampoo/conditioner?
i tried the 365 whole foods brand shampoo and it dried out my hair. i am looking for an organic/natural moisturizing shampoo/conditioner to use (paraben free). any suggestions? What's your fav. organic or natural shampoo/conditioner?
I don't know if it's paraben free, but check out the Burt's Bee's line... I buy the sugar beet and grapefruit super shine shampoo and conditioner and my hair looks better than it ever has... I highly recommend it. I like all of their products including face washes, body washes and lotions. It's a great brand. What's your fav. organic or natural shampoo/conditioner?
Melaleuca... You might have to find someone who sells it but it is the best group of products that I have ever used. They have everything from diet suppliments to house cleaning products to soaps and shampoos for the body. Everything is environmentally friendly and if you have sensitive skin it is great for that. Try going to www.melaleuca.com for more info
I like Nature's Gate mandarin orange and patchouli scented shampoo. It smells soooooo goood and leaves my hair shiny.
Hiya Human!! My Sister is the Queen of Organic Food as well as Organic Cleaning %26amp; Personal Hygiene products. She uses the whole line of J /A / S /O / N. Here's a few suggestions on shampoo/conditioners.
