Best shampoo & conditioner for me?

My hair has been really dry %26amp; dull :(

I am going to cut off about an invh of my hair tomorrow.

What shampoo/conditoner will keep my hair, shining, bouncy, and really beautiful? :)

Thanks in advance! :)

P.S. I do use my CHI straightener a lot. I'm guilty!Best shampoo %26amp; conditioner for me?
i use my straightener a lot too and Herbal essences volume shampoo and conditioner works really wellBest shampoo %26amp; conditioner for me?
biolage hydra therapie shampoo and the conditioning balm, leave the conditioning balm on for like 15-20 minutes with a towel or plastic on it and watch tv or something like once every one or two weeks or whenever it feels really dry to help with the dryness, it will help your hair soak up some natural oils! oh and also use it daily too, just not alot and not for 20mins!
1. stop using your straightener so much. they dry out and ruin your hair.

2. Tresseme, Pantene Pro-v, Garneir Fructis, i love them :]

hope i helped!

.Best shampoo/conditioner for oily hair???????
Have you ever tried Aveda shampoo and conditioner? I have the same type hair as you do, and I just love their products (they have many choices). The shampoos don't strip your hair, yet remove the oil completely. The conditioners aren't oily, so they leave your hair voluminous, but it's still easy to comb it out after shampooing, just remember to use more conditioner at the ends. The scents are very clean and fresh, not perfumy. They are a bit pricey, but you don't have to use as much as other shampoos and conditioners, about the same price point as salon products. I love them, and I think I've tried almost everything. In fact, my daughter bought all Aveda products for me as a birthday gift, including shampoo and conditioner, which I just used this afternoon (happy dance:) I'll post a link for you below. I think they may even send you samples.

go to your stylist and ask her about nioxin products they balance your hair ph... cause when your hair is either oily or dry it's because your ph is out of whack...so I use the contrary method when my hair is greasy i put no conditioner and when it is dry after a chemical treatment then i sleep with the conditioner in my hair to give it a moisture boost....if you want the drugstore products garnier fructis make a line for greasy roots and dry ends i tried it once and it helped but the results you will see after a few usages.....and yes try putting the conditioner in your ends where it needs it only that will get you good results as well.....;)
Most products on the market contain ingredients that cause irritation, dryness, and our bodies to produce more oil such as alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, mineral oil, etc. These give a temporary feeling of softness and smell fabulous but they have little to no long term benefits. Arbonne has some great pure, safe, and beneficial products that are formulated to meet your specific need. The self adjusting daily shampoo and conditioner are formulated with natural tree oil. Native to Australia, tea tree oil is known as “The wonder from down under.” :-) It's botanically based, pure, and safe with key ingredients including nanospheres, nettle, hops, sage and thyme extracts, vitamins A, C, E. If you're open to trying a free sample, I'll be happy to send you one.
I would have to say that, hard to believe, but baby shampoo works very well with oily flat hair. Paul Mitchell is what i used, and it helped a lot.
Use Garner Fructis
all i kno is change your shampoo and conditioner every month. this prevents buildup in the hair and keeps it healthy.
Pureology is a really good natural brand and they don't test on animals. (PETA recommends using their products, too)

    Best shampoo/conditioner brand?

My hair is thick, slightly wavy, dry on ends, oily on top, tangles easily, approx. 8-9 inches past my shoulders. I don't want brands with a bunch of irritating chemicals in them. I also get product buildup very easily. I heard Bumble and Bumble was good tried their Sunday Shampoo but can't say I'm in love. Any other products in their line or what shampoo would you recommend?Best shampoo/conditioner brand?
I use TreSemme Smooth and Silky shampoo/conditioner every day. I also have thick and slightly wavy hair that's down to my waist. All I do is just use that without blowdrying or anything like that, and it does keep my hair smooth and silky. Also, I never get tangles somehow when I use it, but my hair becomes a mess when I use anything else. I hope I helped!

herbal essences ';hello hydration'; = best shampoo and conditioner i've ever used, even better than expensive %26amp; professional ones.
dont get mane and tail cuz that will make your hair thicker. try head and shoulders shampoo with either dove or pantene conditioner. its really good and it also makes your hair grow : ]
    Pantene.
Aussie is preeetty good. So is Herbal Essences.

Mane and tail is for horses, but i heard it works...
    mane n tale
    maybe Dove?

GOOD shampoo & conditioner for thick frizzy wavy hair?!?

ive got long frizzy hair.. Pls help me out in gettin soft, smooth and healthy hair! ThanksGOOD shampoo %26amp; conditioner for thick frizzy wavy hair?!?
I LOVE Garnier Fructis. I use the Sleek and Shine System. Works awesome! I use the shampoo, conditioner, and sometimes the anti frizz serum. They have other products in the Sleek and Shine System, but that's all I use. I have the same kind of hair u have.GOOD shampoo %26amp; conditioner for thick frizzy wavy hair?!?
    parnevu, aussie, thermasilk
Dove is the best shampoo to use on your hair.---- ZERO FRIZZ-- a hair serum. Its a therapy for frizzy dry damage hair. Use a daily conditional that you leave in. Use Dove mouse or a leave in conditional. Dove works wonders. My mother-in-law had thick curly red hair. Its works for her.
Try Sunsilk anti-frizz.............it works great and is very inexpensive. You can pretty much find it in any of your local stores.
    Clairol. Herbal essence.....Tresemme..Suave Humectant...Nexxus.

Make sure it says for frizzy hair.....
Oh my goodness- my hair is the same type! I use a Chi usually. This is my hair washing ritual, though:

    1. Before shower, put conditioner on dry hair for 15 minutes. This takes out the unwanted oils and frizzes.

    2. Wash hair with shampoo

    3. Rinse

    4. Condition again

    5. Rinse

    6. Squeeze the wetness out with your hands, and then towel dry.
control freak by bead head works for me.
I just tried a sample of SunSilk (green) for frizzy hair. It worked very well and I've had this problem as long as I can remember! They have a shampoo and conditioner for every major hair problem. You can go to their site, maybe the free samples are still available. Hope it works for you!! :)
I don't know about smoothing it out but I found SASSY to be a godsend for me. My hair is very wiry and wavy. When I smooth/straighten it just does more damage. I suggest don't fight it but help gain some control over it with the curly style lotion. They also have gel and wax for added control. The lotion softens it a great deal. I found it at Krogers.
Best shampoo for that is K-pak by Joico and also to Pureology Nano Works Shampoo and Conditioner. Pretty pricey, but completly worth it.
i would try sunsilk, there is the dark blue one for poof, or the green one for frizz

    Shampoo/Conditioner/Leave-in Conditioner?

whats a good shampoo, conditioner andd leave-in conditioner Company that moisturizes your hair and makes it look shiny??Shampoo/Conditioner/Leave-in Conditioner?
Infusium 23. They have shampoo, conditioner and the best leave in conditioner you will ever try. They carry it at drugstores, walmart, and most beauty supply stores.Shampoo/Conditioner/Leave-in Conditioner?
I love Paul Mittchel ';The Conditioner'; for leave in

It's so fantastic, I've got the softest hair ever. Alot of products are different for different people so try a few Report Abuse

I like the ';Dove'; shampoo with the conditioner built right in. It has different kinds that will suit your hair type.
depends of what type of hair you have. I recommend to you Suave. it is the economic version of Pantene but works marvelous.
Redken go to their website....they haev a good questionnare which you can fill out...n they will recommend you teh products....
Sunsilk has different types of shampoos/conditioners for different things you want. It works pretty good and I'm sure they have a shiny hair one. Leave in conditioners are often the best.
You can try the Panteen Pro V line that works for specific colours. I find that it makes my hair very shiny after use, and is also very moisturizing to the hair.
tresemme moisture rich and Aussie 3 min miracle
loreal is What i use. I loves it! It smells awesome too.
I recommend Biolage shampoo and conditioner and for added moisture, conditioning and shine - Biolage daily leave in tonic. It works very well.
    Sunsilk Hydra TLC
aveda's brilliant line is supposedly good. i bought the shampoo and conditioner today after getting my hair done at the aveda salon.

i've been using the pantene ice shine shampoo and conditioner and it DOES give a shine to the hair but apparently, it's drying to the hair so i don't really recommend it.

Also, give your hair a trim to get rid of split ends
Sunsilk for dry hair and split ends. It's in a hot pink bottle, and it works GREAT! I was having the same problems as you, and they're all gone. You can buy it at Walmart or CVS or anywhere like that.

Best blonde hair conditioner/shampoo for boys?

my brother keeps dying his hair platinum blonde which makes it brittle,

he asked me to buy him some shampoo and conditioner so i was going to buy tigi dumb blonde duo or john frieda.

tigi is kind of expensive and apparently john frieda is crap?

advice please?Best blonde hair conditioner/shampoo for boys?
Well, your bro could use some women shampoo.. you know like the hydrating ones.

Tell him to put fructose conditioner (It works really good!) in while he's showering with a showercap ontop. Leave it in for like 3 minutes or any time he wants. RInce it with cold water.

It'll be supersoft!Best blonde hair conditioner/shampoo for boys?
There is no difference between male and female hair so it doesnt have to be 'for boys'

TIGI products look flashy but really are not worth the money. I suggest getting some tresemme deep conditioners (resurection and moisture rich) tell him to smother his hair with conditioner and then wrap his head in cling film. This will treat his hair and it will improve the condition. If he did these every other day for a week (shampooing/conditioning as normal after) his hair would feel so much better and he can cut down to doing it once a week and then once every two weeks

He should leave it on for no less than 4-5 hours (the longer the better though)

I dyed my hair quite alot and this is how i keep it in good condition

(cling film is vital to the treatment, it stops the conditioner from drying on the hair, once conditioner dries it stops working. so he needs to use clingfilm to keep the treatment going)
    suave
If he was a real man then his hair would wash, cut, style and dry it's self.

Does garnier have color treated shampoo and conditioner?

They have shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, leave-in conditioner, AND shine spray for color treated hair. They come in green bottles with a pink dot and a pink label that says Color Shield.

    Procedure:

    Wash hair with shampoo.

Use conditioner on the ENDS of your hair only. Massage it in well.

Apply a large dollop of deep conditioner to your hair, and leave it in for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse.

Towel-dry your hair, and then apply a quarter-size amount of leave-in conditioner.

When it's dry and you want to add some shine, spritz some of that shine spray in for instant shine!

Good luck!Does garnier have color treated shampoo and conditioner?
There is Garnier Fructis Fortifying shampoo for color treated hairDoes garnier have color treated shampoo and conditioner?
yes they do and its awesome! its called color shield.

Do you run out of shampoo or conditioner first?

Conditioner, always buy an extra bottle!Do you run out of shampoo or conditioner first?
Definitely conditioner...I buy my shampoo/conditioner 1shampoo and 2conditioners at a time, so that I don't have to buy only conditioner in between shoppings!

I have very long hair, and if i don't condition every day, it gets weird and frizzy...(am currently LOVING new herbal essences moisturizing sh/con!!)

cjDo you run out of shampoo or conditioner first?
Conditioner!!! I have curly hair, so I use A LOT more conditioner than shampoo, I run out of conditioner really fast. It's actually annoying to not have them out at the same time, but oh well, I get compliments on my hair all the time, so it must be worth it! :)
aha wow all these girls run out of conditioner first i always run out of shampoo first.

reviews? what does it do good for your hair? it is save of color treated hair? how does it smell? what things doesnt it cover?

pros and cons!S factor shampoo and conditioner?
I first used this shampoo @ hair salon %26amp; the smell is intoxicatingly wonderful %26amp; your hair is so silky soft my husband even noticed. My chocolate hair color seems to be staying true much longer. It is rather expensive so if there is a con that would be it. If you don't mind spending well over $50-$60 on shampoo %26amp; conditioner then its worth it.S factor shampoo and conditioner?
SFactor Color Savvy = my favourite shampoo!!!! It smells so yummy....and honestly it has been the best shampoo for locking my colour in (i dye it red)....there are no cons other then the price i guess....but its worth it.

What kind of shampoo/conditioner do you use...?

    and why,....

:o)What kind of shampoo/conditioner do you use...?
    ... herbal essences.. straightning.. O_o

cause my hair is a messWhat kind of shampoo/conditioner do you use...?
I use a lot of different types, they are all mostly salon products, the reason I use salon Products, is because they are better for your hair and also they are more concentrated, by that I mean your store products have more water in them, that's why they are so much cheaper, and they have more alcohol in them which makes your hair dry, I am also a beautician, I don't do it for a job any more and haven't for years but never stopped using salon products, andy of them are great, and I always switch back and forth between different ones
Pantene-because I was told they are pretty good (and there are sometimes good prices for them, too)- but there are Burt's Bees products I heard so much about and maybe (if I can afford it) I will buy their shampoo and conditioner and see how they fare.
    Herbal Essences, Aussie, Sunsilk, whatever.

I don't worry about it too much, you know? I don't ever use heat products on my hair, and my hair is just naturally good.
Just whatever my dad brings, becasue it's there.

  • Shampoo+conditioner advice?? ?

I got that new ';beautiful lengths'; shampoo+conditioner from pantene

it works great, but it makes my hair super staticky

i need a shampoo that will help volumize my hair

    and i mean VOLUMIZE

i wear my hair very big, and staticky, flat hair just isnt cutting it.Shampoo+conditioner advice?? ?
You should try the john frieda volumizing shampoo and conditioner line. Also make sure you completely rinse out the shampoo and conditioner from your hair because if you accidentally leave some of it in it will weigh your hair down and try to cut down on the amount of styling products you use so you can get lots of volume. Best of luck!Shampoo+conditioner advice?? ?
This isn't a very good answer, but Herbal Essences is good and the shampoo generally does what it says it's going to.

    Bill Kaulitz pwns all.
I really like the Big Sexy Hair care line it works pretty good for volume and takes static away usually.. also you can try leave in conditioner before styling
No shampoo will volumize your hair. You just need good products that will thicken your hair strands. If you want to ban static, rub a little lotion on your hair.
Try herbal essences, they have a bunch of different shampoos for different hair types.
Use less conditioner, it will weigh your hair down. There are many products out there for the frizzies, try one.

Ant tips on how to wash hair and shampoo and conditioner recommendations? i havd dry/damaged hair.?

I have been a swimmer for like 8 years, have long hair that I straighten, have dyed it, highlighted it, you name it, my hair has been through it. I have tried all the expensive crap my hairstylist gave me, but what has absolutely done WONDERS for my hair is dove. I absolutely swear by it. you can get it for any color hair out there (mine is currently for ';dry/damaged hair dyed darker or closer to its natural color.';)

As for how to shampoo/condition it, this is what I do: shampoo it and rince it out, then squeeze all the water out of your hair, shake it out a little bit, and put the conditioner in. comb it through with either a wide toothed comb or your fingers, and leave it in while you do the rest of your shower routine (washing, shaving, brushing your teeth, etc.) it should be the last thing you rinse off your body. When you get out, rap it in a towel for a little bit and dry it with that, dont get right into blowdrying it. spray it with a whole bunch of leave-in conditioner (dove makes that too) and comb it out again with a wide toothed comb.

My hair actually felt healthier after using dove, something I havent ever really experienced before. its amazing!!Ant tips on how to wash hair and shampoo and conditioner recommendations? i havd dry/damaged hair.?
Wash your hair only every 3 days to give it a break from ALL chemicals and let the oil build back up naturally. Oil is a protectant that your hair needs and shampooing too often keeps stripping it.

Use Dove Therapy (in the Dark Blue Bottles). They are healthy shampoo and conditioner that work for dry stressed hair and your hair should be back to normal after two or three shampoos.

You can also apply olive oil to dry hair just before bedtime, cover with a shower cap, and sleep in it. The next morning, wash in the Dove products, let the conditioner sit for about 5 minutes, and you'll have manageable hair once again!

Also, never dry your hair with the blow dryer when it is wet. The hot dryer dries it out more. Instead, let it dry naturally, and when it is almost dry, blow dry with the cool setting. Let the hair absorb as much water as it wants before blow drying. That's a very big secret most people don't realize is so healthy for dry hair.

Good luck!Ant tips on how to wash hair and shampoo and conditioner recommendations? i havd dry/damaged hair.?
OMG Garnier Fructis for dry and damaged hair it works wonders!!!
Best thing my hairdresser told me - don't wash every day! So I wash my dry hair every other day. The natural oils on your scalp are the best thing for helping dry hair. And brush your hair gently before going to bed.

I use Redken shampoo %26amp; conditioner for dry/damaged hair and John Frieda hair products for styling.
i would go with moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. leaving i conditioner for at least 5 mins, u know while u do the other things u do while showering. also a leave in conditioner after u shower can help. regular trims also helps keep your hair healthy.
Dove moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, it's in a light blue bottle or a navy blue bottle (but NOT the white one). Wash it every other night.
Try Dove's new line. It's shampoo and conditioner for dry/damaged/ and distressed hair. I tried it and my hair got reallllly healthy after a while. Try it.

    And it smells good too.

    Best anti-breakage shampoo & conditioner?

ok i straighten my hair ALOT and i dont want to get it perm straightened(too expesive because i have long hair) i need haircare that helps protect against split ends and damage...Best anti-breakage shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
try K-PAK by joico. it has protein in it and that is what your hair is made out of. this will make your hair stronger. i dont know if you are using a protecting product in your hair when you use a straightener but that will cause alot of split ends and breakage if you are not using one. for that i suggest shine spray but pureology or beyond shine by aqauge. you will have to get these at a salon but it is well worth it. getting regular haircuts is a must as wellBest anti-breakage shampoo %26amp; conditioner?
garnier fructise works the best for me, and i also have a lot of breakage in my hair caused by my straightener :)
Go to a Beauty Store near you and look for Hair Therapy Products. They have some stuffs professional use at the Salon!

    Best gentle puppy shampoo? Conditioner?

Just got a new Lhasa/Maltese and he's 3 months old. Whats the best/most gentle shampoo I can use? What about conditioner? Is glocoat good?Best gentle puppy shampoo? Conditioner?
    Cloud Star Buddy Wash Shampoo/Conditioner

    http://www.amazon.com/Cloud-Star-Shampoo鈥?/a>Best gentle puppy shampoo? Conditioner?
I have spent literally thousands on Puppy and Adult Shampoo and Conditioner. None worked the way they said, even from the vet. I was out of everything and I used Dawn dishwashing liquid. EVERY flea fell off dead. It doesn't keep them off, but it does get them off. Fleas have to breathe and they can't in soapy water. Dawn is way less expensive for a lot more of the product and it helps condition the skin. I have used this for 15 yrs now on every dog I have had or rescued. I'm sure there are some things out there that have worked for people, this is just my personal experience and I know that it works. It can be anykind of Dawn. Hope this helps!
I use Cloud Star Buddy Wash and Conditioner also.
Idk what glocoat is but use any type of tearless puppy soap; its gentle and it obviously wont hurt his eyes :D
take him to the groomer and tell them what shampoo or conditionor would they recomend for your maltese

    Whats a good shampoo/conditioner?

Ok, im a guy. I have that ';shaggy'; hair, and it's naturally curly but i straighten it almost all the time. But whats a good shampoo/conditioner for me to make my hair soft, and straighten easily?

My mom tried to get me to use that Tresseme Heat shampoo/conditioner... should I?Whats a good shampoo/conditioner?
I suggest to use dove heat defense therapy shampoo it works great without using the hair conditioner it glides smoothly on the flat iron your hair is softer .Whats a good shampoo/conditioner?
I personally prefer Pantene or Dove. Also something you can try with it is Silk Infusion by Chi. It's a little pricey, but it works wonders. You barely have to add any and it should make your hair really soft and smooth.
Yeah you should use that Tresseme product your mom suggested. I saw on here a couple days ago, someone asked a question similar to this, and a hair stylist answered and suggested that.

    Good Luck.
pantene tresseme and garnier are no good they are filled with silicone with builds up on your hair very bad

but Salon brands from supermarket like wella, swartzkoff like that are usually good and cheap
You should try the stuff your mom suggested, its really good and makes hair feel really soft. It will also help your hair when you straighten it.
    OZZY

    Shampoo/conditioner question?

what shampoo/conditioner makes ur hair the most silky and shiny?? i no pantene does cuz they put so much chemicals in but its really bad for ur hair so dont tell me pantene. Thnxx =)Shampoo/conditioner question?
I use garnier fructis sleek and shine. its filled with vitamins and fruit concentrate. The leave in conditioners also work really well.Shampoo/conditioner question?
Actually you want to buy a 99 cent bottle of shampoo and one of conditioner. Then purchase ThermaSilk, which is expensive, yet worth it. With any shampoo and conditioner it will leave a residue on your hair and after using it for a long period of time it will stop working. So once every week or 2 you want to wash your hair with the 99 cent shampoo and conditioner. It will wash out the residue. The rest of the time use ThermaSilk. Hope that this helps!
I can tell you of a lotion which is 100% natural and free of chemicals. It has to be used minimum half an hour before shampoo, it has extracts of plants and fruits and essential oils. It is called ziravie

I used to buy from Spain but now it is available on ebay.co.uk under ID of hair-treatment. It is called Ziravie.

They offer external and internal nutrition which helps a lot. Using this lotion I feel

Health and Beauty comes into Harmony
NEXXUS!! its a few bucks more, but it does not build up on your hair and keeps it silky and shiny. Not like drug store brands that build up waxes on your hair (panthenol - in many shampoos and conditioners - is a WAX and builds up on your hair over time and makes it look dull and feel yucky). PANTENE comes from the word panthenol :)

Its worth the few extra bucks to get out of the drug store brands and find a lesser expensive salon brand (NEXXUS!!). Your hair will be much healthier for much longer. No weird buildup either. Less split ends too!! Which means less haircuts... which means saving money...so it was worth the extra greenbacks for the better products :)
Garnier actually works really well. Although I've heard nothing but good about that Treseme stuff. Also, try a leave in conditioner. Garnier has a lot of stuff like that. You can buy a whole set, shampoo, conditioner, a type that you let sit for 3 minutes before rinsing and a leave in. Works well.
pshh you have no idea what ur talking about, thats obviously why ur posting this question. pantene is not bad for your hair.

know the facts. What do you think shampoo and conditioner is? It's not some natural ingredient from the Earth that is meant to clean your hair. Every shampoo and Conditioner that you buy in a store contains chemicals.

Maybe you should live on an island and never wash your hair so you dont have to worry about dumb stuff like this.
Sally's Beauty supply sells a lot of stuff that's usually pretty healthy on your hair and works well too. Aussie Three Minute Miracle is a conditioner that leaves your hair super soft and shiny. Hot oil treatments (also found at Sally's) are another good way to go.
The sunsilk Thermashine works great for silky, and shiney hair, it also works good if you straighten your hair alot

For Conditioner i would say Aussie, 3 minute miracle if you have rather tangly hair, or the sun touched shine.
Biolage by Matrix is the best! Get the smoothing shampoo and make sure to get the conditioner with it. The conditioner is key, and also leave it on for 3 minutes before rinsing.
Garnier Fructis Silk%26amp;Shine works really well, especially if you use the after-wash shine spray.

It works by repairing your hair, so that the frizz is tamed and the hair is stronger.

    I LOVE IT!

    I hope this helps!
Suave humectant! Suave is usually cheap and doesn't work very well, but the new humectant is really great, and very affordable!
The guy who cuts my hair, who works at an Aveda salon, recommends Tresemme color damaged shampoo and conditioner. And my hair is not color treated!
Try Herbal Essences-fruit fusions or Head and shoulders-smooth and silky. It makes your hair really shiny and also gives it a boost in volume.

    =D

  • How long will it take my hair to grow if i use mane and tail shampoo and conditioner???

I know some people are saying mane and tail, but this is the product that will help grow your hair mane, tail and groom order it online from shapely.com it is use to grow the horses mane. I have tried it and it works, it has a smell, but you can mix it with rosemary or some other oil. But it will take time for your hair to grow, but it is capable of growing long. My hair is really curly, dry, long (4 inchs past shoulders) ,damaged ends, FRIZZY, and has alot of volume which makes hard to manage.

I have tryed pantene, garneir fructuis, Aussie, herbeal essence and others but nothing seems to work. PLEASE HELP!!!!Shampoo/conditioner/hair styling recommendations?
I'm in the same boat as you. I have the exact same hair type. I've tried all the ones you have too. The latest one I tried was Tre Semme and it's not working either.

I guess we may just have to try a more expensive product like at salons. I used the Bumble and Bumble shampoos and conditioners before and I loved them! Kind of expensive though.Shampoo/conditioner/hair styling recommendations?
For shampoo and conditioner, use something you bought from a salon. Even though salon products are expensive, they do work.

Otherwise, use dove shampoo and conditioner (with moisturizing milk). It really helps your hair to be silky and soft. You should buy a damage repair or extra moisture shampoo.

Try john Frieda Frizz-Ease, and treat your hair to deep conditioning every week.

Also, if you have split ends you might want to consider cutting just the ends off. Split ends rob the hair of it's length.
use pantene pro-v restorative frizz control shampoo + conditioner

i used it and i always get compliments on how silky and smooth my hair is

  • Shampoo/conditioner for highlights?

    Hi,

I have just had my hair highlighted and wondered what is the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair.

My hair is bob length and naturally coarse, dry and thick.

Many thanks for your help.Shampoo/conditioner for highlights?
Don't get sucked into salon brands, Pantene and Tresemme are just as good!

Get one made for colored hair, it's gentler and will then be less harsh on your color so it won't wash out or fade so easily/quickly as a more harsh shampoo will.

For conditioner, the formula itself just for colored hair is by default better for moisturizing and making the hair softer because coloring is pretty harsh on hair. So you should be covered on conditioning just by getting the kind made for colored hair.

All colored means is the product is gentler and more filled with agents to smooth the hair, it's actually great for anyone to use because of that. People think it CONTAINS color, not true at all, it's just gentler and more full of softeners.

Hope that helps =o)Shampoo/conditioner for highlights?
Lush do a shampoo specifically to keep the colour in highlights nice- 'daddy-o' smells like parma violets and really makes your hair smooth and shiny. Also their hair treatment 'marylin' is very moisturising and helps keep blonde bits blonde.
I have highlighted hair and LOVE the Pantene products. They sale many different lines. There hairspray also works well.
You should get a shampoo for dry, damage hair.

    Shampoo & Conditioner question?

I work out everyday which makes me have to wash my hair everyday

I need a shampoo and conditioner that is gentle enough to use everyday.

    thanksShampoo %26amp; Conditioner question?
You really shouldn't wash your hair every day! I work out every day too and I don't wash my hair every day. What I do is wash my hair every other night. And then I use conditoner for my hair. I don't put conditioner on my scalp because it would make it oily. On the days I don't wash my hair, I use hot water and scrub it. Then, I put a tiny bit of conditioner. If you wash your hair more than every other day, you will lose your natural oils and therefore your hair will become frizzy and dry, it will also lose it's shine to it.

Good luck, hope I helped!Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner question?
Do not wash your hair every day. It's not healthy because you have have some natural oils left but if wash everyday your hair may become dull, frizzy, and dry. If you must I think you should Garnier Fructis Moisture Works or SunSilk Hydra TLC.
read the label it will tell you normally it would be mild shampoo.

  • Shampoo/Conditioner cause cancer?

    I agree with blackman4u.........

    ITS REDICULOUS!!!!!!!Shampoo/Conditioner cause cancer?
When you consider what you are going to put on your skin and on your lips, you should ask yourself, ';would I eat this?';, because almost everything you put on your skin is absorbed into your precious bloodstream and some of these chemicals, in the long-run, can make you ill.

In some foundations, formaldehyde is present, as well as parabens which are used as preservatives in a lot of the so-called natural cosmetics because of the natural ingredients.

Lipstick and lip products contain pertoleum, benzophenone and phenol which are not something that you want to be that close to your mouth. Do you?

It has been determined that phenol can cause diarrhea in some people

and the benzophenone can cause hormonal problems in some people.

The formaldehyde that is present in foundations is a skin irritant that can make your skin problems - that you are trying to cover up - much worse.

Another concern are the animal products found in makeup. The collagen that is used in most makeup and skin care products is a gelatin like substance that is made by boiling the bones and the tendons of animals. This gel is then added to cosmetics and marketed to the public as the 'latest' in the research on the Fountain of Youth.

To easily make your skin beautiful without the need for artificial enhancements - massage oilve oil into your skin every night and/or every morning. This routine will keep wrinkles away for a long time.Shampoo/Conditioner cause cancer?

    Shampoo/Conditioner, Lotion, Refill Station?

Wouldn't it be great if we had refill stations (like gas stations) for shampoo/conditioner, lotions and laundry detergent? Buy a bottle once and just take it to the refill station when you run out. There wouldn't be the opportunity for alot of selection, but there are ways to find out what are the most popular brands and have them shipped in like fuel. Manufacturers could still charge just a little less to consumers and would rapidly decrease the mass usage of plastic and help the environment. What do people think? Am I just crazy? heheheheheShampoo/Conditioner, Lotion, Refill Station?
    We have several in Edmonton.

Earth's General Store encourages its customers to bring in their jugs, bottles, and jars for refill, not just recycle. They are a standard retail store, so they don't represent any one company. There's plenty of selection! There are many health food and green cleaning companies who package thier products in bulk for stores to bring in. http://www.earthsgeneralstore.com/

I refill my laundry soap, my castile soap, cleaners, shampoos, conditioners... And most other products come in bulk, too, like borax, baking soda, soap flakes... And you can use any container, not just the one that product originally came in.

I am planning on moving to Newfoundland, one of the Island provinces. They have NO recycling facilities there, and burn ALL their refuse. It's nasty. I hope to make my living opening up a retail store with just such a feature. After all, they are paying to import all that packaging, with the tremendous carbon footprint. We should be able to get alot more life out of such luxuries as imported containers...

Oh. And I make my own creams, lotions, lip balms,cleansers... And I encourage ppl to bring me back their containers. New packaging costs sometimes as much as the product itself. You as a consumer are paying through the nose for it, even if the cost is hidden. It's worth it to reuse, if only for your pocketbook.

If there isn't one in your area, maybe you should start one...

    Shampoo/Conditioner Question

Whenever I use my fruity shampoo/conditioner, My hair never smells like the bottle says it would. What's wrong and how do i improve?Shampoo/Conditioner Question
Use more shampoo then usual? Also sometimes you can't smell your own hair unless its long enough.Shampoo/Conditioner Question
    Buy a different shampoo!~
where are you buying your shampoo at? Believe it or not, there is a black market for professional shampoo's and conditioners, and those products are sold mainly in drugstores, etc. the shampoo's sold on the black market have been tampered with, mostly watered down, to get more for the money. the way to combat this is just buy your hair products from a salon, they are guaranteed that way, and you get exactly what your paying for. professional products are more condensed so you don't have to use as much as other cheaper products. so although you are paying more upfront, the product is of better quality and therefore you don't need to use as much.
    dont trust any products.
    they are all fake shampoo..ol
u should get treseme i u it all the time and my hair smells better than the bottle
Most of the times Shampoo bottles can be very deceiving with their scents. I mean theyy usually do smell like they say when you put some in the palm of your hand but after you're all done, you might smell your hair and only get the faintest scent of it.

Basically, why I believe this happens, is because you're pretty much rinsing out all the shampoo after you massage the shampoo into your hair. It takes a while but I finally found a shampoo that actually smells how the bottle says it should. You just have to keep searching.

    Hope This Helped!

is the shampoo/conditioner called man and tail for people or animals? they see it with the people stuff at walmart, but petco has it with the horse stuff?Mane and tail shampoo/ conditioner?
lol my dad bought that a couple of times.. and my mom and i would never use it.. its horse shampoo.. lol silly man eh!Mane and tail shampoo/ conditioner?
I use to use that. My hair started to get dry and brittle, my stylist asked me what i was using so i told him Mane and Tail. He stopped what he was doing, spun around looked at me with a very surprised and shocked expression on his face and said ';Mane and Tail!! Don't you know that is for horses!! You don't ever want to use that on your hair!!'; I found the situation funny. I guess he didn't. Needless to say, i haven't used it since. Good luck babe.
It was originally made for Horses, to maintain a shiny Mane and Tail. It turns out that it worked really well for people to - so they started marketing it to normal people like you and me - and selling it in normal shampoo/conditioner sections at the store.
I've used Mane N Tail before (it was free), and I never had any problems with it. The Mane N Tail website says that it is for personal care and for animal care - therefore, it's for both. It's also rumored that the product helps your hair grow stronger and faster.
Both. Walmart wouldn't put it with the regular shampoo and conditioner if it wasn't meant for humans too. I can't stand the smell of it though. I hate my hair smelling like that. I have to have a good smelling shampoo or I won't use it.
Well I think its generally for horses, but I 've heard of a lot of people that use it to to maintain healthy hair and remove dead ends.
it supposedly makes human hair smell really bad though.
its for both and it actually works pretty well

The only way you can have you growth stimulated is to eat foods with tons of vitamin B in them.

Or take vitamin B itself, and eat healthy.

    Shampoo/Conditioner..Hard Water?

Anyone know of any shampoos or conditioners which are specially formulated to work well with hard water?Shampoo/Conditioner..Hard Water?
I don't think there are any.

A better solution is to get a shampoo/conditioner formulated for your hair type anyways and not the type of water you have.

And if it's really hard water that affects your hair and skin, how about a showerhead water softener? They work, I've considered one, since soft water is better for your skin, less drying - but it's not that bad where I live.

I did a search for a site that sells them so you know what I'm talking about - link below is just the first result, you can probably shop around for a better price.Shampoo/Conditioner..Hard Water?

And my hair dries up fast.

    %26amp; can't be too expensive.Shampoo %26amp; conditioner, what's the best?
okay i know 2 that woek REALLY good, one is biosilk [biosilk therapy shampoo %26amp; conditioner] also theres tresemme and lastly biolace works well!... you can find these at target or walmart... biosilk may be there but otherwise it would be at a salon! all of those work REALLY well though

also if you want to you can get your hair trimmed and that won't make it that much shorter but it keeps it healthy and grows faster!

some things NOT to use are, herbal essences [makes hair rubbery and not as soft] and panteen doesn't really help, it just makes your hair smell good]

glad i could help!! xoxoShampoo %26amp; conditioner, what's the best?
Sunsilk gives it a nice luster and volume to give you that perfect hair!!

Biosilk is the BEST, however if you cant afford that i would go with

    pantene its real good

    garnier fructis

    i love it

i have naturally curly%26lt;really curly%26gt; hair and it was dry and frizzy and i started garnier fructis about a year ago, that's all i use for my hair, soft curl cream, leave in conditioner, shampoo and conditioner, and spray gel

    i don't use use the curl cream and the spray gel together, one or the other %26lt;for no build up and clean washings%26gt;
Suave really does make inexpensive good shampoos, however what works for me may turn your hair into a mess. If your is dry you will need a moisture shampoo. I would buy those sample size shampoos to try them out or get samples of friends shampoo and just try them until you find one that works for you hair.
    herbal essence is the best.
olive oil , it works but wash it out of course. try it!!!
you should go get a hair cut to get rid of the split ends. then you should go buy(its only about 1-3 dollars) a bottle of the mixture of shampoo and conditioner. i have it and it works very good. on the bottle it says suave proffetionals, it is a greenish blue bottle witha silver cap on top. you can get it at target, walmart, just about anywhere! and do not straighten or curl your hair unlesss you use a spray that protects burns, and let your hair dry naturally but if your in a hurry, then use the blow dryer on a warm or cool setting. good luck!
Well shampoo cleans the hair and conditioner makes it oilier. The one that you should use is this Panteen type I just know the brand but it's super good!
I use Pantene Pro V, myself. They have a vast selection of shampoos and conditioners for all kinds of hair; dry, oily, damaged, coloured, curly, straight - you name it. I have curly, long, healthy hair, so I tend to use the classic care and curl boosting shampoos and conditioners. There's something for everyone, really.
    both them are needed.
The absolute best is the new brand called Organix. It has organic active ingredients and is sulafte free so it wont dry out your hair, plus...it smells awesome! They have different collections for different hair types which are all amazing! You can get Organix at Target, Kroger, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!

    Aussie's moist collection. About $3 a bottle.
I like Aussie Moisture and Conditioner. I have frizzy, dry hair, and it does smooth my hair and it makes it soft. It's $2.94.

I also like John Freida's Collection of shampoos and conditioners. I tried Brilliant Brunette. It made my hair look healthy and brought out my natural highlights. It's around $7.

For split ends, have your hair trimmed just a little bit.
I have tried everything over the years but I swear by Suave.

Get you ends trimmed, it will grow better.
Head and Shoulder REFRESH.. It's really good, cleans the scalp and leaves you hair shiny and soft, but not too soft where it looks oily. I use it everyday, and most people ocmment my hair is the best feature lol XP DON'T use Paul Mitchell... My grams's friend gives me that stuff from her salon and it makes my hair dry.. Chi is pretty good too.
Shampoo is the better choice because it lifts the dirt and useless oils from your hair/scalp. Conditioner only helps the luster and shine of your hair. In addition shampoo also moisturizes your hair. In conclusion, Shampoo is the better choice.
i use biolage and i think its the best cuz i use it and if u look theres different types for ne type of hair and plus it smells really gud. hope u use it.=]
Have you tried Sunsilk? It's a new one, smells great and works well. They have several different kinds one is in a pink bottle and it is called Hydra-TLC. It works really well. You can get it at any grocery store or Walmart and it only costs between 3 and 4 dollars a bottle. Hope this helps!
i have found out that the best shampoo and conditioner is VO5 extra body volumizing.

    Tresemme:]

I have it and I use it all the time!

I absolutley love it and I think its more expensive then aussie

but usually tresemme is in a bigger bottle.
I would say Aussie because I tried Treseme before and it doesn't really work for me and Aussie did.
i have never tried aussie and tresemme was just fine for me!
    Tresemme, love it

    Shampoo/conditioner question?

is there a shampoo/conditioner to make straight hair curly???

like i want to use them to make my straight hair- curlyShampoo/conditioner question?
Don't think so, you'd probably need to use hair curlers or whateverShampoo/conditioner question?
hmm cut out the conditioner sometime.

I have layers and my hairstylist told me to stop using pantene products AND conditioners all together.

Just use shampoo and then scrunch it a alittle before wrapping it in a towel.

I think that will help it be wavy though, not legit curly. but hope it helps a little
    mk.

    try using..

herbal essences totally twisted shampoo and conditioner.

    it sayss.... ';we're for girls who want curls, and babes who want waves.';
No. On a website, I read that none of the curl enhancing shampoos and conditioners work. Neither do volumizing shampoos.
No. The only way to make hair curly is with curling Iron, rollers, or a perm.
no but you could use rollers
i dunno think so but you could use hair curlers or tongs x

For those of you who have tried herbal essences totally twisted shampoo and conditioner what do...?

you think about the herbal essences totally twisted shampoo and conditioner does it work? how does it feel? I got it today and just felt like asking what everyone thinks of itFor those of you who have tried herbal essences totally twisted shampoo and conditioner what do...?
It doesn't make hair curly, If that's what you think. Its for people with curly hair. For those of you who have tried herbal essences totally twisted shampoo and conditioner what do...?
Drugstore shampoos and conditioners are made with cheap ingredients and are very harsh on your hair. It will look shiny and you will think that it feels nice, because it is coated with a cheap layer of wax, not because it is actually healthy. If you have to get a drugstore shampoo and conditioner use Aussie, it is made with more natural ingredients, is less harsh, and doesn't coat your hair with as much wax.

Whats a good mosturizing shampoo and conditioner...?

whats a good mosturizing shampoo and conditioner that would help maximize hair growth?

or just a really good cheap mosturizing shampoo.

i dont like the smell of fruits in my hair so no garnier and stuff like that.Whats a good mosturizing shampoo and conditioner...?
I love Sunsilk Hydra TLC shampoo and conditioner. I had really dry hair from heat appliances and it works great. I actually do a review on it. If you're interested, go check it out on my website.Whats a good mosturizing shampoo and conditioner...?
its kinda expensive but my favorite shampoo and conditioner of all time is matrix smoothing shampoo and conditioner. my hair dresser recommended it for me cuz i have super thick, messy hair and its the best brand of products ive ever used. i also use the matrix bio-something smoothing milk and that helps a lot too.
It's way more expensive at first, but something like Pureology is the absolute best. A bottle of it lasts a really long time, because you use just the tiniest bit. I noticed a dramatic difference in the health and shine of my hair within two weeks. It also has a nice peppermint smell.

It also makes my hair color last way longer without fading.
For sure the Matrix that the other girl suggested, I have super dry hair, have tried everything under the sun and it is awesome!!! Beauty supply stores sell generic brands so that its cheaper : )
    Dove shampoo and Dove conditioner
Jojoba oil shampoo and its conditioner from Crabtree and Evelyn. They really work!! And my 12 year old daughter my hair smells super!
Tresseme is very good. Esp. the moisturizing shampoo.

thankkkkkyooooouuuuu[[:Herbel essence or garnier fruitics shampoo %26amp;%26amp; conditioner.?
I used to use Garnier Fructis Silk and Shine but it didn't like my hair :(........every time i have used Herbal Essences my hair smells good, is shiny, and looks really healthy. So in my opinion Herbal Essences is the way to go! :)Herbel essence or garnier fruitics shampoo %26amp;%26amp; conditioner.?
    They both smell really good!

My mom uses Herbal Essence and I use Garnier Fructis.

I tried Herbal Essence but it made my hair have a dry feeling.

but the Garnier Fructis works on my hair really good.

It make my hair soft, feel really moisturized, and shiny!

I would use garnier, but since both of them aren't that expensive, you should try both and see what you think.
Herbal Essences is the better buy. I have used both numerous times trying to find the answer to this exact question. If you like coarse hair, use Garnier. However, if you like smells and nice flowy hair, choose Herbal. Plus, there are better coupons in the Sunday paper for Herbal Essences!
i buy garnier fructise because it doesn t dry out my hair but still doesnt leave it greasy and when i tried herbal essence it really dried out my hair and i had to use oil so it didn look like straw!!!!
Garnier.... Why... Because I have really think hair and if it does it for me it will for you. That and I have allergies and it doesn't make my scalp itch
i like herbel essence i thought it made my haire smooth and shinier also i like how there drama clean shampoo and conditioner smell!!

What shampoo and conditioner brand is best for dry hair??

I tried all of those shampoos, the pantene, herbal essence and etc... they were all crap, anyways then I decided to try baby shampoo and let me tell you my hair is super dry and frizzy and it instantly smoothes and conditions.

I use first the Tresemme deep cleansing to wash out residue and build up and then I use the Johnson and Johnson baby shampoo + conditioner for curly hair (the green bottle) after that I use a henna plus placenta treatment that you can find at your local beauty supply store and leave it in. Recently I switched conditioner and use the Sedal conditioner SOS ceramidas and it works for me... so far. What shampoo and conditioner brand is best for dry hair??
PANTENE IS CRAP I USED TO USE IT AND I SHALL NEVER EVER RETURN TO IT AGAIN!

    Anyways.

You may only need a deep conditioner every so often in which case i recommend K-Pak. It can be found in any reputable salon, and most beauty supply stores such as trade secret and Sally's. I personally use Matrix Color Protect, it makes my fried hair feel smooth as silk!

If you're going to go for a cheaper brand i recommend ';Dangerously Straight'; by herbal essences. It helps protect hair from heat tools. Relatively cheap. Decently Conditioning. Smells nice.

Also try using a leave in conditioner/serum.

I highly recommend ';Super Skinny serum'; by Paul mitchel.

adds alot of gloss and protects hair from hot tools.

Good luck getting shiny, healthier hair !What shampoo and conditioner brand is best for dry hair??
I all ways recommend VO5 shampoo especially when I don't know, or haven't seen the hair,, the VO5 company has been around for a long time, and the shampoos are made for every kind of hair
look at what it has in it. any brand as long as it has something like coconut oil in. dont get anything with lemon/citrus in- this will make your hair even drier. xx

  • Which one is better for your hair? Shampoo or conditioner?

just interested. please answer for realWhich one is better for your hair? Shampoo or conditioner?
Well you should use both. Shampoo cleanses and removes dirt and bacteria, conditioner shines and makes your hair smooth and easy to comb. Both of them are good for your hair and both you should use.

Hope I've helped!Which one is better for your hair? Shampoo or conditioner?
Both are good if they don't contain Cetyl Alcohol (Because its insoluble and very bad for hair) or Ammonium. Many cheap shampoos contain one or the other as their main ingredients. The only cheap shampoo and conditioner that I know of that doesn't contain either is Main and tail. There are some that claim that they are salon shampoo that contains these as main ingredients too. As long as its not in the first 4 or 5 ingredients you good. Those are usually the main ingredients and is what the product is mostly made of.
conditioner, as it puts...well moisture in your hair, which keeps it from cracking, splitting, etc. this also adds shineyness and softness.

Although......without shampoo your hair can get very dirty and the oils can start to damage it.

Overall they are almost equal, but conditioner does much more for your hair.
neither is better they have diffrent jobs.

shampoo is to clean your hair and often has a fragrance in it which makes your hair smells nice.conditionor is like a reconstructor which makes your hair smoother in simpler words and restores your hair to its former glory.
Shampoo washes your hair, gets out all the oils and dirt and such, conditioner well...conditions your hair. haha. So if i were you i'd wash your hair everyday and put conditioner in every other day. Its what i do.
    shampoo.

because if you condition it too often it becoems messed up and sooooo thin you could barely add a bit of volume to it,

    1:Rinse Hair

2: Poor Shampoo in Hair and let lather

    3: Rinse Out Shampoo

4: Poor in Conditioner and let lather

    5: Rinse Out Conditioner

6: Repeat at least 2 times more for a healthy shine!
Well shampoo washes it and makes it clean, so it's good in that sense.

But conditioner is what makes it healthy and smooth
shampoo is the important one. cuz it washes ur hair.

conditioner is not rly that important....its just to like ';gloss'; ur hair
Their both importantt. Shampoo cleanses, and conditioner makes it healthy and smooth.
A conditioning shampoo cleanses ur hair while leaving it moisturised so i'd go with shampoo.
shampoo cause if u use too much conditiner then it makes your hair feel greasy if you know what i mean
    shampoo is more important.
    always will be better Shampoo

the conditioner can f#ck your hair!
    ask Adam Sandler
conditioner is better for your hair because shampoo strips out the natural oils in it.
Conditioner because it make your hair and scalp healthy. Shampoo makes it smell good.
Id say shampoo because it cleans your hair.

Conditioner just makes it soft, not clean.
    they both have different jobs.

Should I get BOTH Shampoo & Conditioner? (Mane N' Tail Horse Shampoo)?

Am I better off getting both? Or just use the shampoo and use my regular conditioner, I use pantene. Thanks. I'm using the Mane N' Tail for my hair to grow quicker.Should I get BOTH Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner? (Mane N' Tail Horse Shampoo)?
Does that actually work? i might try it, I've heard it makes your hair really glossy.

My advice is use both, shampoo and conditioner work better together. though this is coming from me who mixes and matches al the time. :)

Good luck with growing your hair.Should I get BOTH Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner? (Mane N' Tail Horse Shampoo)?
I wouldn't get either. It really is for horses and their hair is not the same as human hair. Here are some tips on hair maintenance:

    http://sites.google.com/site/informationgirlproject/
Yes you should because the shampoo cleans your hair. And the conditioner makes your hair all nice and shiny and smooth. So yes i recommend you get both Shampoo and Conditioner.
I think you should get both if you want your hair to grow as quick as possible.
Shampoos and conditioners work better when you use them together
yes yes yes get both. it wont do the same or work as quickly one without the other.

Is it bad to use too much shampoo and conditioner?

because when i shower i use horse shampoo, horse shampoo herbals, pantene extra straight conditioner, horse conditioner and fructis conditionerIs it bad to use too much shampoo and conditioner?
Hm... that seems a little bit like a lot of hair products, but as long as your hair and scalp isn't feeling to dry, it should be okay. Just remember that if your hair is starting to feel greasy, stick to one shampoo and conditioner. I usually can only use one shampoo simply because I have fine hair and it gets greasy and dandruffy. Good luck, hope I helped. :)Is it bad to use too much shampoo and conditioner?
i dunno, but that seems a lot, i guess it depends on how much of each thing u use! but as long as your hairs feeling/looking alright, then i guess it must be alright! if you notice your hair getting greasy a lot, then use one shampoo and one conditoner! oh and btw, sometimes different types can react with each other and make your hair quite dry!
hair care products are bad for your hair. and conditioner is a hair care products. why the **** do you use so much?

Horse shampoo. I know it sounds weird, but it works fine. Think about it, horses have very coarse hair. SO they use stuff to make it as silky as possible. So it makes our hair EXTREMELY silky, and therefore, healthy. Healthy hair grows fast. So it gives you silky long hair. Shampoo/conditioner question?

I was wondering what kind of shampoo and conditioner would be good for dry and oil hair for men that can also help volumize my hair. I heard that American Crew is a pretty good hair product but can anyone verify it please? I'm not sure if this will help but I've got short hair and I gel my hair regularly, about six times a day.Shampoo/conditioner question?
Garnier Fructis %26amp; Head%26amp;Shoulders are great brands for not a lot of money . They have special types of shampoos %26amp; conditioners for dry/oily hair .

but the question is -- which one do you have ? it's pretty hard to imagine someone with both dry AND oily, seeing as they are both opposites .

use specialty shampoo/conditioners, %26amp; then blow dry your hair . that will add a lot of volume to it . if you have longer hair, use a round brush . also add a volumizing milk or hairspray, by TIGI Bedhead .

....is it good though???Is treseme shampoo %26amp; conditioner good?
It's AWESOME!!! I've been using nothing else for 10 years nowIs treseme shampoo %26amp; conditioner good?
Ok, TRESeme is a awesome product its for all hair types and the shampoo is deep cleansing with keratin which helps your hair get shine. Also the shampoo contains Vitamin C Which helps your hair grow and polishes your folicules. Now the conditioner makes your hair get smooth and silky which helps if you have dry or damaged hair. The Conditioner has also Vitamin h with silk protein. Vitamin h prevents from your hair falling and the silk protein is for example if you have a bald spot your hair with grow within days.
Out of all the cheap-o shampoos I've used, this one actually rocks. So does Citre Shine, esp. the conditioner. Citre is a great body cleanser, too. The citrus is much hated by fungus!

  • Is It True That A BLue Shampoo And Conditioner tone down blonde hair?I Carnt See how without It Being A Toner?

Yes, it's true, ask your stylist or a professional to help you find what you need, it is also good for those who wear their hair grey.Is It True That A BLue Shampoo And Conditioner tone down blonde hair?I Carnt See how without It Being A Toner?
Aveda do a shampoo %26amp; conditioner called Blue Malva. it is a mauvey colour but not sure that it would actually dye your hair. However it is excellent for stopping highlights going brassy. Not cheap - around 拢15 a bottle but you don't need much.Is It True That A BLue Shampoo And Conditioner tone down blonde hair?I Carnt See how without It Being A Toner?
Not human but i know that for grey/white horses it brightens the colour if you use a specially formulated shampoo that is blue so maybe someone has mistakenly told you it does the wrong thing??!!
If you have any yellow in your blond using a violet shampoo really does help to cancel out the yellow. Just make sure you don't use it so much that your hair takes on a violet tinge :)
It dosent tone down blond, it tones down the brassy undertone that dyed blonde have takes on due to having to much sun, or to many minerals in the water you wash your hair with.
Color enhancing and depositing shampoos are meant to be used to refresh a tone or counteract an unwanted tone in hair. Blue should not be used for blond hair. A blue base would be found in a much darker tone- it counteracts orange. Some lazy hairdressers or people who don't know how to work with toners and glazes properly rely on shampoo to do the job. For best results the appropriate toner/ glaze should be applied and then for routine home care the proper shampoo and cond recommended. If the hair is very porous and the blue based shampoo has a lot of pigment that could grab in the hair. Bummer.

What shampoo/conditioner will make my hair absolutely clean? I use l'oreal shine shampoo and conditioner but it makes my hair greasy. What shampoo/conditioner will?
You should change your shampoo brand. Try VO5, Garnier. What shampoo/conditioner will?
try using a clarifying shampoo then go over it with your regular shampoo. i find that suave is pretty good, then i go over it with my really good shampoo and conditioner. the clarifying shampoo is cutting all the buildup. also when you use conditioner, apply it to your ends only. after you rinse your conditioner out run your hair through cool water, it adds shine. you may want to switch your shampoo and conditioner also.
In my opinion, none of the over the counter brands are any good . They all contain chemicals designed to get you to shampoo more often. That chemical or ingredient or ingredients have a waxy base that makes it appear more shinny, fuller and healthier. However, they are the magnet that collect any pollutants that are air born. I find using a salon product, I use less product for each shampoo, and can go a couple of days between shampoos. When I had 3 teens at home and couldn't control the amount used at each shampoo, I would save a bottle, wash it out good and put 1/4TH. of the salon shampoo, into it, and fill with filter water. Roll the filled bottle around gently on it's side to incorporate. The teens, were always happy with the results. If you can make a teen happy, '; It's a good thing.'; Good luck.
If you have no color in your hair try ';NIOXIN 1 Cleanser'; if you have colored hair try ';NIOXIN 3 Cleanser.'; Your scalp and hair will feel refreshed and completely clean.

here's from my experience. i had lots of greasy hair during sports, etc., well when i went to get my hair cut she gave me some cheap shampoo and conditioner but also said the herbal essences has a lot of wax in it which can make your hair greasy. also it could just be that your hair is actually dry and is over-producing oil so try from like a moisturizing shampoo to a clean shampoo. hope this helps!
well first of all i would check and see how much shampoo and conditioner you are using, as if you use too much then this could be the reason why your hair is getting greasy, you should only use a tiny amount of both each time you wash your hair.

i would also recommend herbal essences as they smell gorgeous.

    hope this helps.
herbal essence strawberry and pearl is awesome. it fully cleans your hair and leaves it smelling like strawberries!
Herbal Essences drama one...the one in the green bottle

    Best shampoo/conditioner for my hair?

okay, so i have wavy, thick, dry, frizzy hair! ugh!! i hate it. whats the best shampoo/conditioner to make it look a lil better and healthier? please help...thank you! oohh. and i dont wanna spend like $20 on it either..so keep it simple but successful..thanks.Best shampoo/conditioner for my hair?
I would suggest either Infusium 23 (moisturology) Step 1 is the Shampoo, Step 2 is conditioner and they have a Step 3 which is a leave-in conditioner...Each bottle is about $5-6.

Even cheaper but still effective- Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner...they make a conditioner called 3- minute miracle that might help as well. These cost about $3-5 per bottle.

Both brands are easy to find at most stores. Hope that helps : )

i have bi-racial hair and i used to have the same issues as you.

i also use motions leave-in conditioner. but you can use any kind.

Awwe girl, I know the feeling. I have hair like that, but Im African American and it took me so long to find a shampoo and conditioner that would work with my hair type. I use pantene, but the kind that is specially formulated for women of color. :)
Mane %26amp; Tail. It may sound a little weird because it's for horses, But it works amazingly well for human hair too. Also It's not that expensive, Maybe 5$ at your local farm supply center, or superstore.
garnier fructis sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner is good for dry, frizzy, uncontrolable hair. :) Good luck!

every different type of hair, uses different shampoo and conditioner, its according to the individual and how they like their hair..and what works for them..having said that...my daughter use dove,my husband only use johnsons baby shampoo and it works fine,me I use Bio-lage I get this at the salon,it cost a bit but I find it to be the best..your hairdresser should be able to tell you which you should get for your type of hair cause she knows your hair type..good luck.
i think you should use creamsilk stand-out straight condotioner for your hair, if you want it straight and stands out on the crowd... hehe...

but every hair differs from each other so you should try to know what your hair type is... if you go to a salon, ask them what conditioner suits your hair really well
    i say in first place

head and shoulders (shampoo and seperate conditioner)

always gives a nice shine and feels really soft :)

    and second Dove

Does the same as above, :) but i prefer head and shoulders
I have tried many for my daughter with the same hair.

Herbal Essence, sleek and shine works best for her.

Also, once a week she does the deep 3-min conditioning.

I wish I could transplant her hair onto my head... :)
i use pantene and my hair is silky smooth shiny sleek has more body and smells really good .

they make this new conditioner were it takes away 3 months of damage in 3 minutes
