Actually you want to buy a 99 cent bottle of shampoo and one of conditioner. Then purchase ThermaSilk, which is expensive, yet worth it. With any shampoo and conditioner it will leave a residue on your hair and after using it for a long period of time it will stop working. So once every week or 2 you want to wash your hair with the 99 cent shampoo and conditioner. It will wash out the residue. The rest of the time use ThermaSilk. Hope that this helps!

NEXXUS!! its a few bucks more, but it does not build up on your hair and keeps it silky and shiny. Not like drug store brands that build up waxes on your hair (panthenol - in many shampoos and conditioners - is a WAX and builds up on your hair over time and makes it look dull and feel yucky). PANTENE comes from the word panthenol :)
Its worth the few extra bucks to get out of the drug store brands and find a lesser expensive salon brand (NEXXUS!!). Your hair will be much healthier for much longer. No weird buildup either. Less split ends too!! Which means less haircuts... which means saving money...so it was worth the extra greenbacks for the better products :)
Garnier actually works really well. Although I've heard nothing but good about that Treseme stuff. Also, try a leave in conditioner. Garnier has a lot of stuff like that. You can buy a whole set, shampoo, conditioner, a type that you let sit for 3 minutes before rinsing and a leave in. Works well.

know the facts. What do you think shampoo and conditioner is? It's not some natural ingredient from the Earth that is meant to clean your hair. Every shampoo and Conditioner that you buy in a store contains chemicals.
Maybe you should live on an island and never wash your hair so you dont have to worry about dumb stuff like this.
Sally's Beauty supply sells a lot of stuff that's usually pretty healthy on your hair and works well too. Aussie Three Minute Miracle is a conditioner that leaves your hair super soft and shiny. Hot oil treatments (also found at Sally's) are another good way to go.
The sunsilk Thermashine works great for silky, and shiney hair, it also works good if you straighten your hair alot
For Conditioner i would say Aussie, 3 minute miracle if you have rather tangly hair, or the sun touched shine.
Biolage by Matrix is the best! Get the smoothing shampoo and make sure to get the conditioner with it. The conditioner is key, and also leave it on for 3 minutes before rinsing.

Suave humectant! Suave is usually cheap and doesn't work very well, but the new humectant is really great, and very affordable!
The guy who cuts my hair, who works at an Aveda salon, recommends Tresemme color damaged shampoo and conditioner. And my hair is not color treated!
Try Herbal Essences-fruit fusions or Head and shoulders-smooth and silky. It makes your hair really shiny and also gives it a boost in volume.
