Best shampoo and conditioner for curly/wavy, extremely thick, very dry, frizzy, tired hair?

personal experiences please...Best shampoo and conditioner for curly/wavy, extremely thick, very dry, frizzy, tired hair?
My favorite conditioner is Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose, which you can find at a whole foods or organics store. It is amazingly moisturizing. Ahhhh.... My favorite shampoo is the red Cream of Nature which you can find at drugstores. It's very gentle and doesn't make your hair feel brittle. Besides the products you are using your routine may need some tweaking too. :)

Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful:

*Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find ratings by region here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons

*Don't shampoo every day.

*Comb conditioner through hair in the shower.

*Apply styling products to dripping wet hair. Scrunch or twirl hair to achieve desired shape.

*Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don鈥檛 know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types

*Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber or t-shirts instead.

*Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer.

*Don't touch (or brush!) your hair while it鈥檚 drying.

*Once dry scrunch out any crunchy texture.

For specific products for your hair type you might also want to explore the forums at:

There you can find others with the same hair type and try out some of their favorite products. I would recommend something, but I don鈥檛 know your hair type. :)

Lastly, it has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I used to almost never wear it down (it was a frizz/poof ball), but now I have pretty, shiny curls. ~:) It鈥檚 pretty radical鈥攏o sulfates (shampoo) or silicones鈥攂ut it鈥檚 so great for curly hair. Give it a shot and check it out:

I hope this helps!Best shampoo and conditioner for curly/wavy, extremely thick, very dry, frizzy, tired hair?
My hair is the same and the only thing that works for me is Herbal Essences Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner for dry hair (the red ones) and Proclaim Spray on Glosser which you can easily buy cheap on ebay.

I don't blow dry my hair, I let it dry naturally for as long as possible then just finish off with the drier - I straighten it using Trevor Sorbie Straightening Protector and my trusted GHD's. A spritz of shine and it's transformed!
well my hair is like well frizzy and dry but i started using charles worthington shampoo and conditioner and it made it very smooth and less frizzy. I also use from time to time Aussie Hair Miracle hot oil for dry damaged hair or for frizzy hair and it works really well. I also now never use any heat at all as it just makes it more drier. Instead i use a afro comb and comb my hair through to make it curlier and less frizzy again.

Hope i been a help x x
I used to have loads of problems with my hair - and very sensitive scalp - so tried Aveda products which were fantastic...

My stockists stopped selling Aveda so I tried Ojon - and have not looked back. Here is their website for full details but you can also buy on QVC (www.qvcuk.com) to make the most of their ';try for 30 days %26amp; send back for a full refund'; should it not be right for your hair.. http://www.ojon.com/

The restorative hair treatment should sort your hair problems out overnight along with another shampoo/conditioner range if your finances cannot stretch to the full set - Tresemme is a good economy range available at all good supermarkets. I passed mine onto my friend because I had too much shampoo - she is addicted and uses it for all the family... She and her young daughter have long hair which tends to wavy curls and as it works well for them I should think it would for you too..

Good Luck
I have very curly frizzy hair. I got a sample of Sunsilk in the mail and it was amazing. That's all I use now. It makes my hair so soft and it takes away the frizz. You can use it when you straighten your hair or if you just leave it curly.

Sunsilk: Straight To Perfect [Purple bottle]

Make sure you use the shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 cream. They work the best together.
i ve the same problem. however my hair isn'tt very curly or wavish, all my probs started after i went for color treatments n bleaching. neway, after all that no shampoo would suit me. the best two i ve found so far r herbal essences (the red one) n loreal elvive nutrileum (orange bottle). it works wonders. do give it a try.
Paul Mitchell products have Always tamed my messy hair.

No product will work miracles but will tame your hair. I also use a flat iron and smoothing serum afterwords.

I also sometimes go to the dollar general store and go to the ethnic section and buy conditioner for my hair.
TRESEMME! its awesome!

get the shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner (its in a little pot thing)

its really good and read the instructions because they have awesome tips

i think its the best one out there better then pantene and aussi herbal essences etc.
Pantene for extra dry hair, the grey one. (';Repair and Protect';, the one for winter hair) The conditioner is the best.
Kerastase oleo relax is great for frizzy hair. It's one of the best shampoos I've ever used.
I use Ojon made totally from natural ingredients from the rainforest. It's absolutely brilliant available from QVC.
aussie shampoo and conditioner absolutly recommend this product.

it worked wonders on my hair , seriously try this
Aussie stuff is great, especially the 3 minute miracle frizz remedy.
